Welcome to Bulbapedia, Stratelier!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

 • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
 • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
 • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
 • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
 • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
 • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
 • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
 • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
 • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Link templates

First off, I'd like to say, that was a good piece of trivia you added to the Shield Dust page. On that topic, however, I noticed that when you linked to the Synchronize and Baton Pass articles, you put them as Synchronize and Baton Pass. See, at Bulbapedia, you're encouraged to use link templates for that sort of thing. Synchronize and Baton Pass are shorter and easier to put in than what you had in, and they have the same end result. There's also one for Pokémon; Weezing would take you directly to the Weezing article, and would work exactly the same as if you had put Weezing. Just remember that when making edits in the future, OK? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 23:35, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

I had actually submitted them as Synchronize (ability) etc., but apparently that esoteric shorthand is converted behind-the-scenes after submit (as opposed to on display). You can probably guess that my standard Wikimedia markup was mostly for lack of familiarity with what particular remplates are available on this wiki. --Stratelier 00:25, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
