Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Rankurusu!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:Rankurusu) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Talk page guidelines

Please take the time to read over Bulbapedia's talk page guidelines. Bulbapedia is not a blog; if you'd like an area to write about your personal feelings, sign up to the Bulbagarden forums. This site is related to Bulbapedia, and incorporates a blog feature. —darklordtrom 01:23, 24 July 2010 (UTC) Thanks, trom (can I call you that?)! I'll be more careful next time! --Rankurusu 07:12, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Gen V Pokémon

Since so little is known about them, it is still way too early to add them to lists such as List of Pokémon that do not evolve. Please just add information that has been confirmed. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 07:40, 3 August 2010 (UTC) Sorry, Werdnae! I guess I'm still learning! --Rankurusu 10:47, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

One tiny little thing

Hey there Rankurusu, when you reply to a talk page message, start a new line with a colon (:). That way, it makes your message easier to read.

This is the result.
And another one! (have a look at the source of the page if you're confused) Cheers! たかはり 06:46, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip, Takharii! --Rankurusu 06:56, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --—darklordtrom 08:31, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Okay. Thanks! I'll try to stick to the rules more! --Rankurusu 10:20, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Please listen to trom, do not edit to much on your userpage. I'm on here regularly and see that you keep editing your userpage. Next time, try hitting the Show Preview button before you save your work. If you edit your userpage too much, you can get blocked from editing it until you edit the mainspace more. Thanks--Lilkaykaygal 10:17, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Sorry! I accidentally made a link to a page that does not exist (I hadn't noticed when I used the "Show Preview") and wanted to change it. I couldn't help myself. I'll try to be more careful next time. By the way, you seem to know a lot about Bulbapedia. What happens if I put a tick in the box next to "This is a minor edit"? --Rankurusu 10:31, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
It means that in the Recent Changes it has a little "m" next to it, and if you click the "Hide minor edits" (which no-one does) it disappears from the Recent Changes list displayed. Werdnae (talk) 10:36, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I understand!--Lilkaykaygal 10:39, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Two accounts

Any particular reason why your IP address matches that of another user? —darklordtrom 11:14, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry. I don't know what you mean by IP adress, but this might have something to do with my little brother. He uses the same computer as me. Sorry if this isn't helping! --Rankurusu 08:00, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Ah, that's what I was looking for. Thanks for your answer. —darklordtrom 08:08, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
