Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Prinben!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Prinben) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Hi

I noticed your question on Kenji-girl's talk page, regarding your userpage. She doesn't have anything to do with locking/unlocking your userpage--you need to make a certain number of edits to the mainspace first, so you can become autoconfirmed. Don't ask how many, since it's top secret, and anyway, I don't know myself. --☆YoshisWorld☆ 12:22, 31 August 2011 (UTC) Ahw right ok sorry about that, I'm quite new, I have started writing the synopsis for M14 although I'm writing it while I watch it, so It wont be all done at the same time Prinben 12:32, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Grammar & MoS

Before you continue writing M14's synopsis, you should improve you grammar and also read the Manual of style, especially the section Basic wikicode. Remember also that it's Pokémon, not pokemon.--Den Zen 13:48, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Welcoming

It's great that you're making an effort to welcome new users, but instead of copying and pasting the coding off other talk pages, just type {{subst:welcome}}. Much easier, avoids any coding issues that might come up. You don't even need to sign it! Thanks. --P o L i 18:46, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

  • Sorry, thanks for the hint :) Prinben 19:08, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

FYI

You just welcomed a vandal Truthseeker4449 20:48, 28 September 2011 (UTC) There was no warning or block on it though so how am I ment to know?Prinben 20:50, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

I know that but still if the user makes edits before someone welcomes them, it should rise a question or two. Truthseeker4449 21:36, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
To be honest, deleting a vandal's talk page doesn't take long. Just personally, I'd rather have to delete the talk page of a vandal than have new users go unwelcomed for fear that they may be a vandal. (Unless they've already been blocked, obviously). Werdnae (talk) 22:21, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 21:42, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Warning other users

I appreciate you looking out for other users, but I need to point two things out. First, remember that you can use {{Userspace warning}} to warn users about the policy. Second, be careful on how you say things to other users. When you said "you will have a temporary block if you continue," it makes it sound like you're going to implement the block, which probably won't happen unless it is really severe. Do remind others about potential consequences about rule-breaking, but leave the official decisions to staff. Thanks! --rockersk08 23:10, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Edit Summary

Please calm down. There's no reason to use caps in edit summaries like you did here. Using all caps implies yelling and violates the Bulbapedia Code of conduct. Be aware of this in future editing. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 02:05, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
