:::I'm having a hard time understanding what you're trying to do here. If you want to see how a template works, you can either use the sandbox (just add a new section at bottom of the page), or you can test it in your userspace. For example if you have a template at "User:IVsaur/TEMPLATE", you can test it on its respective talk page "User talk:IVsaur/TEMPLATE". The staff is a bit more lenient if your editing a template that will be put to use in the mainspace later on, just don't get to excessive with it.
