Move infobox

You mentioned on Dark Pulse that you were seeing problems with the infobox covering the image gallery. Might I ask what browser you use, and at what resolution your screen is set at? I've not been seeing any issues on my end so far. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 18:21, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Really??? I'm using Internet Explorer, and screen resolution is 800 by 600 pixels. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 18:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
I alos have a 800 by 600px screen, though I am currently using Google Chrome and it looks fine. --Theryguy512 18:55, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Regarding the "War"

See here: Template talk:FB ht14 18:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

So it's only allowed to be used for Frontier Brains, as opposed to whatever is made convenient by it? That sucks. It's like, they don't want us to use them whenever it's convenient. But that goes against the purpose of link templates in the first place- convenience. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 18:39, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Not all of it is used for convenience. ht14 18:45, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Honey Tree Questions

Regarding the questions you pose on my talk page: The 4 trees which may have a Munchlax are related to the trainer id and secret id of the player. I am reluctant to post exactly how its determined for one reason, because it can be used as a method of checking the legality of the Munchlax. I will definitely post it, however at this point, it is not in the best interest of the greater Pokemon community to post it.

I will release a program that allows a person to supply their trainer id and secret id and it will tell you which trees. It requires knowing both peices of information, will is also a problem for players who do not use an AR or flash card, or know someone who does.

Oh, alright. But what about my other question- does a tree that's slathered with more than one honey affect anything? I ask because it seems wierd that a tree can have multiple honey slathered on it at the same time. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 11:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
I belive you are misunderstanding how it works. What I meant by slathering multiple times was: If you slather a tree, encounter a pokemon, and slather the game tree, it will qualify as slathering the same tree multiple times in a row. If you slather a different tree while waiting for the first time, it will break that concept. This brings a trade-off between 1%, 0.1%, and 0% chance of getting a Munchlax and makes triggering the 90% chance, very rare. Sabresite 20:36, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
No, I understood that part. I was asking, since there turns out to be significance in slathering the tree again right after battling a Pokemon there, then is there anything that is affected by slathering a tree, then immediately slathering it again? I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 20:14, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
It will work the same as if you had done it after you encountered the Pokemon. 10% chance to randomize the column. Sabresite 20:36, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Ah, OK. Thanks! I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 22:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

G Template

i think youve been told before to NOT use the G template as a workaround for typing out "Pokémon", so, dont do it again. -- MAGNEDETH 01:03, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Eh, have I? I honestly don't recall. Either way, sorry. It won't happen again. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 01:11, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
i thought you were, but, idk. if not, im sorry. its been a minor problem. -- MAGNEDETH 01:13, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

I was seriously planning on taking notes of all the trainers there, since I'm playing Crystal again (for the 300th time or so...), but this was much easier... Mr. Charlie 3:15, 23 March 2009

The Revolution

I kinda support the revolution, but I thought you might like to see what someone left one the Revolution's disscussion page. You ain't gonna like it... PokemonTrainer7738 19:12, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

What, the deletion tag? That was me. Someone just created the page with some spammy message, so I replaced it with the delete tag. Thanks for telling me, though. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 19:33, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Glitch

Look, it's not proper grammar to capitalize glitch when Nintendo has never used it capitalized. They're never use the word at all, meaning that there is no evidence for whether or not it's get capitalized. And since it's not proper grammar to capitalize words when there's no evidence for the fact that it should be capitalized, glitch should not be capitalized. And don't tell me about the Shadow Pokémon thing, because that term has been used by Nintendo. 0° 21:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I know. But as of late, there was a vote on the forums, where it was ruled as a non-issue, meaning that either way is acceptible. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 21:10, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
The fact that it's a non-issue means that proper grammar should be used. 0° 21:11, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
That right? I interpreted it as "nobody cares, either way's OK". And anyway, what do you suppose we do? email Nintendo and ask them? They'll probably just give us that standard lecture on how Missingno. isn't part of the game and causes strange quirks and the rest of that garbage. Actually, maybe I'll do that, see if I was right. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 21:13, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Can't find logic on this.

Look, Missingno. is a really good and fantastic Pokémon. I assume that, I really like him. But, it is not real, it's an error. I agree that it have caracteristics that normal Pokémon have. But, there is no logic on this: Missingo. don't have an artrwork, a Pokédex entry, or something else: no one has thinked about some caracteristics about Missingno. I insist: it's an error, a glitch. A glitch can't have an habitat, behavior or diet.

I know that everything I'm writing is useless for you. You'll not change your mind, because you're a fan of Missingo., and I respect it. So, I don't care if the page of Missingno. will keep with biology. I really don't care!- unsigned comment from Xhandin (talkcontribs)

I see where you're coming from, but the fact that it exists in the games means it's real. There is a difference between a Pokémon being not real and Nintendo refusing to acknoweledge its inevitable existance. I'm Missingno. Master. So? Glitch City is real, yet it doesn't have Places of Interest, Pokémon, Items, nor In other languages sections! --Theryguy512 21:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
It will once I'm through with it! I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 21:44, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
...there's no items or places of interest in Glitch City. It's just a corrupted map of wherever you were. TTEchidna 01:07, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Dude, SERIOUSLY!!!

Dude, seriously, you've been here long enough to know better than create a page that has previously been deleted! --Theryguy512 21:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Deleted UNFAIRLY. Venomoth is Koga's most notable article, hence, it gets an article. Unless you think his Golbat is more notable. Or his Voltorb. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 21:44, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm aware that it is his most well-known Pokémon, but still, not enough info is known about it, and it is not notable enough!!! --Theryguy512 21:53, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
It was also only in one episode!!! --Theryguy512 21:53, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
But ALL Gym Leaders get an article on their most notable Pokémon, don't they? Unless if there's two equally used, like with Liza and Tate, and Tucker... I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 21:56, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
That isn't the rule. The gym leader rule is that the Pokémon had to do something significantly more than just the Gym Battle. Did the Venomoth in question add to the story line? Provide a rival outside of the battle in the plot? MaverickNate 23:00, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
It took part in the Team Rocket battle. And Koga offered to trade it for Psyduck. But really? I thought the rule was the most notable Pokemon gets the article. I mean by that logic, Bugsy's Scyther shouldn't exist either. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 00:55, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
We're currently in the process of working out the notability of Pokémon like that as well. TTEchidna 01:06, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Lt. Surge's Raichu is the same, we have an article on it.--Pokemonguy1 03:29, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

I think what they mean is ... wait for it ... add an "In the games" section that's the only thing differentiating the article from the others

plus Lt. surge's Raichu didn't even battle team rocket.--Pokemonguy1 03:34, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Raichu had a big effect to the charcters though.--FF(editstalk) 03:36, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Koga's Venomoth evolves in the episode, evolving is always something noteworthy--Pokemonguy1Pikachu 03:38, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Pikachu doesn't want to evolve because of raichu. Which is more notable? Evolution or Pikachu's decision to be stronger than raichu.--FF(editstalk) 03:44, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm not saying Raichu isn't notable, I'm saying that venomoth is and Bugsy's scyther didn't do anything notable--Pokemonguy1 Pikachu 03:53, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Lorelei

do you think that lorelei deserves a page on one of her pokémon?--Pokemonguy1 Pikachu 23:42, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

We have pages for Lucian, Aaron, Lance, Koga, Bruno, and Cynthia's most notable Pokémon, so.... Alright. Which one of her Pokémon was most prominently shown in the episode? As I recall, she used Cloyster against Ash... And Jynx against Team Rocket.... I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 23:44, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
In the games, her main Pokémon is Lapras, but in the anime, none was shown with special focus... Mr. Charlie 23:52, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm. As I recall, Cloyster got the most screentime, though marginally. And she did battle Ash with it... Yeah, I say Lorelei's Cloyster be created. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 00:07, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
I strongly disagree... I believe none of her Pokémon got enough screentime nor we have enough information to have an article on it. But hey, it's just my opinion, and I have the tendency to treat the Games with way more respect then the Anime. Mr. Charlie 00:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
