Thanks, but

translations need to be consistent with what else is used here. Moves from the games need the same translations on the move pages. Moves used in the TCG before need the same exact translations as those attack names. Hope you understand. MaverickNate 02:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

You were not yelled at. You were just told not to change our translation conventions and standards. We try to keep everything consistent. If you notice incorrect Pokédex translations, please change them to what they should be (and correctly change the origin sections to reflect the correct translation). Also, many of the Japanese only promotional cards either have the Japanese text, or a message saying we don't have a translation. Do you think you could possibly translate those too? Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --Kevzo8 14:02, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your help!

Filling in the japanese names and translations is such a fantastic help you did. Thank you for getting it done. I just filled the jname and jtrans of Pokémon Machine with Pokémon Machine. I thought that was the easiest and most appropriate thing to do. Now, I have something else that I am hoping you can do. See, in Category:Unreleased cards, there are many with untranslated Pokédex entries. Do you think you would be able to translate them? Most of them are set up like Marill, but I'm not sure if some of them don't even have the entries yet. If you could possibly translate the entries on the ones that aren't, and compare them to the game entries to see if they are from the games, I'd really appreciate it. If you find some without even the japanese entry, I can get that for the page, I would just appreciate it if you could do this translating job too. MaverickNate 15:24, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

I'll make a list and get it to you. I'll place it here in like an hour or two. Because that's the next time I'll be available to do it. MaverickNate 21:21, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
There were a lot less than I thought.
Dark Gengar (GB 2)
Dark Marowak (GB 2)
Dark Starmie (GB 2)
Jynx (CoroCoro promo)
Murkrow (Trainer promo)
Pikachu & Pichu (CoroCoro promo)
Wooper (CoroCoro promo)
If you can get these, that'd be awesome! MaverickNate 22:34, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Jobs

Actually, I don't have any work for the TCG right now. There is the Category:Articles needing translation category, if you want to take a look at that. MaverickNate 23:22, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Signature!

On all talk pages, write ~~~~ or click on button_sig.png button after every post. This automatically generates your signature, and lets everyone know who has written what, and when. Thanks, please remember this in future. --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 04:31, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Translations

Hi! I will take you up on your offer now lol. One problem I've had for a while is with Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire volume 1, basically, I was able to get the chapter titles from the Singapore version. But my copy of the volume is Japanese, so all the title page scans are Japanese. So basically I have the Japanese names of all the chapters scanned on the page, but don't have the skills or knowledge to type them out in Japanese and then translate them. So if you are really bored and want to do translations could you help me out with that?? Same goes for Pocket Monsters BW volume 1 and Volume 2 except for the first 2 chapters that somebody already did. Thanks :) --ZestyCactus 18:23, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

I finished up R/S Volume 1. Some of the titles have typos (invite vs. invent), and some translations are missing words, etc., but if you say they were the official translations, then you don't need to worry about fixing them, I suppose. I'll work on BW later tonight. Mefredbob (talk) 19:40, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
