Hi again, so I did what you suggested and went to he Archives to upload new versions of images I had replacements for, only to find that a large majority of the images appear to be protected. I can't upload new versions of any of the Episode Images (I tried images from various seasons, all lacked the "Upload New Version" link), images such as a picture of Officer Jenny from the anime (not the main picture of her from BW, a screencap of a scene in the Kanto season). Is there something wrong specifically with my account, or are hundreds of images protected for no apparent reason? [[User:GetOutOfBox|GetOutOfBox]] 15:11, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

:Yesterday, when I said that card images are rarely protected, that was only specific to cards. Anime episode images, on the other hand, are more likely to be protected: especially the episode headers. All those changes typically need to go through the anime head, {{u|Kenji-girl}}. When the images weren't protected, lots of people would upload new screenshots based on what they personally thought was better, and many revert wars broke loose.
