:::::::Strictly speaking, we don't ''need'' any of the LTs, as it's easy enough to write out <nowiki>[[Psychic (move)|]]</nowiki>, which becomes [[Psychic (move)|Psychic]]. The only ones we really ''should'' use are {{template|p}}, {{template|m}}, {{template|a}}, and {{template|t}} (although we often use {{template|type2}} instead), as that way, people are more likely to remember the parentheticals. {{template|g}} and {{template|pkmn}} allow us to avoid hunting down the e-acute for Pokémon in some cases. Other than those, they're mostly for convenience. I'm not immune from this laziness myself; I designed {{template|badge}} because of all the badge links that work like that. But templates like {{template|DL}} and especially {{template|OBP}} bother me. At that point, it's almost as easy to write out the link as it is to use the template.
