yes, i would def take away Empoleons Steel type, its weak to ground types, one of its main adversaries! and while there are indeed muliple Water/Ice types, how many of them are any good? Epoleon is a steel type, which can beat Ice. And yes I know that Steel doesn't beat Water. Water/Steel>Water/Ice.

Metagross is awesome. Psuedo-legends are starting to grow on me more due to my 'UU IS AWESOME KTHXBAI' wearing off and starting to move on to 'oooo strong Pokémon > you' stage. xD Just not an Aggron fan. It... sounds like a train.

Magikarp

I don't get how Magikarp isn't on there (Gyrados is awesome, but the only efficient way to get him is to catch him, evolving either takes rare candies or Exp. share), and Dusknoir is AWESOME, but i DEFINETLY agree with bidoof. ok, i'm trying to get a shiny, so i use my Pokéradar. i see a patch of grass shake, i go to it... AARGH! it's a bidoof! so i check my pokédex for where he's not, go there...AAAAAAARGH! BIBAREL!!! You hate a bunch of the Pokémon I like. Marill, Sableye, Pachirisu, Lopunny, Milotic, Empoleon. I'm not flaming you or anything. I just thought it was kind of funny.

Oh and the thing that you said about Empoleon: "It's a penguin, but it isn't part Ice-type?? Who thought that up??". The myth is all penguins live in cold areas. The truth is that only like 10% of all penguin species live in cold areas. Just thought I'd bring that up.

Milotic's not so bad if you use it on your team. But yeah beating it is a bitch. What I do is usually send a Grass-type out and use Grass Knot. Its weight ups the attack. Grass moves seem to work better on it than Electric moves --☆ケンジガール 23:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

as for penguins and the ice thing, that may be correct, but really, when the general consensus of people think of Antarctica when they think of penguins, it sort of makes sence, and you CANT deny that. (well you can, but, you know its true!!)

as for Milotic, it only gave me trouble in Gen 3 because its high sp def mans my Magneton cant give it a severe beating (in one hit anyway, because i WILL hurt it quite bad, what with Magneton being awesome) and being its pure water, its only weak to elec and grass, both sp. types. now in gen 4 i can take it out fast with a physical grass or elec attack (like Thunderpunch) -- MAG NE DETH 02:28, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree with you 100% on selecting Bidoof. I find these all the time when I'm looking for Poké Radar Pokémon. Very annoying. You should also add to the list Bibarel, Kricketot and Kricketune for the same reason. Okay, wanna know somethin' about Pachirisu? It's actually good. I'll explain why.

Pachirisu learns some of the best support moves there are. Its base offensive stats are only 45, but it has Super Fang for that. Super Fang has a set amount of damage, so it's a great choice on Pachirisu.

Then, we get to its defenses. 70 base Defense and 90 base Special Defense. Not bad. Especially with Light Screen. With Light Screen, Special attackers are totally screwed.

Like almost every other Pokémon, it has Toxic. If you use Super Fang three times and then use Toxic, Pachirisu becomes even better.

Lastly, there's Sweet Kiss. Pachirisu is a great supporting Pokémon if it has Sweet Kiss. Confusion + bad poisoning = Lots of damage!

Now, if you Pachirisu haters still hate Pachirisu even after reading this, that's your opinion and I respect that. But I personally tested out a Pachirisu with Super Fang, Light Screen, Toxic and Sweet Kiss, and it's a beast. Chocolate_{((Talk to Me|Look at My Contributions))} 02:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Actually, Sweet Kiss helps against Garchomp. Let's say you have a Pachirisu as your lead Pokémon, and your opponent leads with a Gyarados, and has a Garchomp. Now, most people will expect Pachirisu to have Discharge purely for the high chance of paralyzing the opponent, even though Pachirisu doesn't have that good offensive stats.

So, as your opponent switches to Garchomp, Pachirisu uses Sweet Kiss. Confusion is a great status condition to be able to inflict on your opponent. If Garchomp hurts itself in confusion and has invested in tons of Attack EVs, it'll hurt itself quite a lot, and then Pachirisu has Toxic to inflict even more damage on Garchomp. Spiritomb is easy to get, just ask for it on the GTS after facing Cynthia, even if you lose to her, its still in your pokedex, so can still be asked for over GTS, then either use the GTS one you get, or breed it to get an egg of a Spiritomb. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010
