Welcome to Bulbapedia, Kingsisle!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signature Link

You might want to change the link in your signature, it's linking to Kingsisle instead of User:Kingsisle. -EVsandIVsaurs 13:51, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Please make sure you're signing with four tildes (~~~~). You can also use button_sig.png instead of manually typing it in. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 16:45, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

New articles and grammar

Firstly, when making a new article, make sure that you write more than just one sentence, such as adding an infobox and the like. It may be better if you work on new articles in your userspace before putting them in the mainspace, because the articles as your wrote them now are really no better than not having an article at all.
Secondly, please work on your grammar when writing in articles. Many of your edits are not capitalized, or have no spaces between punctuation, which isn't good. Also, please don't use second person (you) in articles. Instead, use phrases such as "the player". --It's Funktastic~!話してください 19:32, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

ok thanks.- unsigned comment from Kingsisle (talkcontribs)

Also, not jumping on you but more of informing. Please do not create articles if the most you can contribute is one sentence. Just because an article shows up as a red link does not mean it needs to be created right away. It is better to wait until someone can create the article with much more info than one sentence. Also sign off your talk page comments with ~~~~~ Thank you. Frozen Fennec 19:40, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

thats the reason i put the incomplete mark over the pages and of course this is my user talk page so i am pretty sure i can not sign them. - unsigned comment from Kingsisle (talkcontribs)

It is your talk page but you still need to sign your own comments regardless. Frozen Fennec 19:45, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

oh well i guess i should have read the rules and such.Kingsisle (talk) 19:50, 23 May 2013 (UTC) thanks though butt still some people don't look at the editors hub and just search randomly so i gust wanted to give a short summary to those people.

Second person and Pokémon

When editing in the mainspace, make sure of two things. First, don't use second person (using 'you'). Instead, use 'the player'. Second, Pokémon should always be capitalized, and have an 'é' instead of a regular 'e'. If you don't know how to type 'é', both 'é' and 'Poké' are in the Character palette below the edit box. Thanks. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 16:58, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

I think that second person perspective is the right way to go especially since I am talking not about the player but the playable Pokémon. Kingsisle (talk) 17:09, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

It's not just my opinion, it's what the manual of style says. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 17:12, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
