  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

Element Pokédex release dates

I noticed you added or changed the listed release dates for the Element Pokédex books. What is the source for these dates that you added? --SnorlaxMonster 07:27, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi. I've never used a talk space so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. But yes, I have those Element Pokedex books I got from Scholastic's Pokemon Master's Club. I noticed that there was an order in Bulbapedia, which have "preceded by" and "succeeded by," and some of the books were missing release dates. One of the books was listed as "2005" when the copyright year on the book says 2004. 3 books have the 2004 copyright year, while the rest have 2005 copyright years, so it makes sense for the books to release once a month from October 2004 to September 2005. It was a subscription service and I got the books once a month in the mail. I fixed the release months and years to correspond with the order Bulbapedia already had them in.

Hope that helps. :) ICanSnake (talk) 14:18, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
