:That's pretty much how it goes in-game too, they specially say that it's Pokemon evolution for humans and it uses the same sort of transformation sequence. When certain conditions are fulfilled your Warlord gets a fancier outfit, their stats increase, and their ability changes, usually to a stronger version of their current ability.
