This is kinda a "{{tt|way-over-a-month-late|like 3 months late?!}}" response to the [[talk:Hydreigon_(Pokémon)#Mention_of_King_Ghidorah.3F|"Mention of King Ghidorah?" topic]] you made. But [[Hydreigon (Pokémon)#Origin|to quote a part of his origin section about Ken Sugimori ideas when designing it]], "Hydreigon was drawn with a fewer number of heads in order to appear less confusing." So my guess is, while it ''might'' have helped inspire the design, it wasn't the actual intent that it had three heads ''because of'' King Ghidorah.
