Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Black60Dragon!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Charizard's gender

Hey there, I understand your reasoning about Ash's Charizard being male, but there is no official confirmation. It falling in love with Charla is no confirmation, as it doesn't really say anything. What says Pokémon of the same sex can't fall in love with each other, just like humans? The policy states: The gender stays unknown until someone in the anime calls it a male or female.

Unless a Pokémon uses Attract on Charizard or there is any other definitive mention of it in the anime or the staff will decide to get rid of this policy, which I think is highly unlikely, do not change it. Thank you. BlazingFist ☼ 00:16, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Butterfree

There is this notice just below the "Trivia" header:

<!--

DO NOT ADD TRIVIA ABOUT BUTTERFREE BEING RELATED TO VENONAT.

-->

I added it there just two days ago because many users were adding the same thing as you, even though it's just pure speculation/rumor.--Den Zen 21:48, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 22:54, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Block

I have blocked you for keeping edit warring before the consensus was reached. I also removed misleading user tags from your page for obvious reasons and deleted your user talk template as it was almost identical to mine. If you want to recreate it, please change at least the colors and images before adding it to your talk page. Oh, and contrary to what you said here, Pumpkinking0192 has been here more than one year and knows our policies much better than you, while you joined just a week ago...--Den Zen 17:48, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

Talk Page comments

Unless you are archiving your talk page, removing talk page comments is against the rules. Please refrain from removing them again. Frozen Fennec 03:13, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

Reply to Frozen Fennec's talk page

He is kind of right, though. This here shows what you should and should not do. In this case, removing comments from your own talk page unless it's vandalism. It can be used as part an archive and the history of your contributions in one quick glance. If you feel you don't want this, you could just move and archive your talk page and begin anew, although I'd really recommend doing it when your talk page is already too long. Don't see what he said as a threat, it was just a reminder. However, if you keep on failing to listen to advice, we will have to step in. As "stupid" as the rule is, we enforce it because that's how we keep the wiki clean. Thanks for understanding. Masatoshitalk 03:40, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
