I'll post whenever I can... I really don't have much time to, truthfully. ... Of course, you're free to pick and choose from what I've already written. It's all at http://www.fakecard.com/pokemon/tcg/ ... Just be sure the text get rewritten, best take out all the Hmmm!'s and other personalized stuff, just so it seems more like an official encyclopedia piece, y'know? -nick15

I'm also useless when it comes to anything Nintendo has released since around Team Magma/Aqua, so you're gonna have to find someone else who's up to date with those sets. - nick15

If I remember right, a user is alerted when someone writes on their talk page. I was going to see if I had enough power to abuse to put this on the front page, but I don't =P

I'm considering taking down PokeFor by the end of the summer. So, here's an open offer for Bulbapedia to take its content, reword it into your own words and use it. Okay, so I allowed that before, but now there's a rush for content as it'll be gone within a month or two! Okay, so there's still the Wayback Machine (where you can still see PokeFor's wonderous pink layout!) If PokeFor has anything of use, then have fun and enjoy. If it doesn't, then please disregard this. Feel free to pass this message on to any Bulbapedia users. Even though I openly and outright detest parts of Bulbapedia, why should I care one bit about things after I'm gone? --Meowth346 07:56, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I was taken aback by your decision to freeze the site, but remained optimistic about the possibility that you could change your mind. I have even been keeping track of the site's recently modified files feed, and noticed that you have updated it at least once since the freeze took place. If it is not too much to ask, I would like to know why the site cannot remain in its present state, so that you can resume maintaining it if and when you change your mind.

PokeFor does indeed have its many uses, so the question should not be if Bulbapedia would be benefited from taking its content, but rather if it deserves to do so in the first place. Before PokeFor's content can be implemented, Bulbapedia has to undergo many changes, and Bulbagarden itself has to be less geared at the anime and the Pokemon fandom. The People category is a good example, merging the creators of the games with arguably influential figures in the Pokemon community (I consider it a problem that Archaic and Serebii's pages are more detailed than those of Satoshi Tajiri and Junichi Masuda). It will be very easy to simply implement PokeFor's content as it is, but it will not blend with Bulbapedia's less-than-satisfactory quality. If those in charge decide to take up Meowth346's offer, I hope that they will also be fair enough to follow suggestions to revert Bulbapedia to a true Pokémon encyclopedia. Even if he may not admit it, Meowth346 at the very least deserves to know that his hard work has been put to good use. --Unown Lord

"so that you can resume maintaining it if and when you change your mind."; yup, you hit the nail on the head. That's why I'm dropping it. --Meowth346 11:30, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
If you so strongly feel that it is less than satisfactory, you should take up the challenge and improve the quality of said articles. (Then again, this sort of information is hard to come by. Where could we possibly find out, say, Ken Sugimori's birthdate or Jun'ichi Masuda's birthplace?)
But I don't think we are going to roll back on our policy to be an encyclopedia of canon and community. That's a step backwards. Anybody and everybody has an encyclopedia of canon. This is our way of differenciating ourselves. (You could argue the very idea of a wiki encyclopedia is how we are different, but anybody and everybody can have one.) As much as our latest efforts appear to be anime- and community-focused, rest assured we still respect the rest of the canon. (In fact, I would really like it if more effort was placed there...)
But let's face facts: if people won't contribute because they feel it won't blend in, and if it won't blend in because people won't contribute - well, then we're mired in a vicious circle, aren't we? So, we accept the challenge to assimilate and integrate Meowth346's accumulated volume of knowledge. - 振霖T 13:33, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I simply fail to see why the the People category cannot be split into two separate parts, representing the canon and the community. Looking at the other parts of the Bulbapedia, there is no major collision between the two, but judging by this example alone, that may simply be due to a coincidence. Is there not a way in which Bulbapedia can remain an encyclopedia of both canon and community, and yet not force the community upon those who could find it offensive? You must have gathered from Meowth346 that he is one such person whose enthusiastic approach towards Bulbapedia was turned down by some articles that pertain to the community. I also find that there are very few English sites which do justice to the canon, so you should see Bulbapedia has a means to collect information from those sites, as well as to highlight them over the many sites that follow the repetitive pattern of the same limited content. You should not feel obligated to focus on the community if only to make Bulbapedia unique (that is not to say that you should roll back on your policy completely, but that you should attempt at separating the community-related content from the canon-related pages).
I have been demotivated to take an active part in Bulbapedia, but with the inclusion of PokeFor's content, I feel compelled to change that. I will do my best at ensuring that the site's content is assimilated in such a way that stays true to Meowth346's ambitions, and that the rest of Bulbapedia undergoes the necessary changes. As a final note, I only hope that this does not only mean you will intergrate Meowth346's work on the past and present games, but also strive to follow his path when future games are released (the most relevant subject being the upcoming XD game). --Unown Lord
Few of us have the skill or talent needed to do as he has done for the game canon. I myself have not the resources to even extract the simplest information from XD, for I have neither a GameCube nor a DVD-ROM drive to read the data with. The upcoming Diamond/Pearl are an even greater challenge: no one has ever dissected a DS Pokémon game before. I am not even aware of any successes in dumping DS games. (It is my hope that when dumped, the structure will not be too different from the GBA.)
The people category would have been split, were it not for the difficulty in finding suitable category names. No doubt that people agree that Tanaka Hirokazu, Sugimori Ken, Tajiri Satoshi, Masuda Jun'ichi et al should be separated from Archaic, Meowth346 and Murgatroyd - just how do you define the criteria as a category name?
My own question is this: is it actually the community that people find offensive, or just certain segments? - 振霖T 14:34, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Actually, Nintendo DS games are being dumped. Check it out here. -GoldChaos
Cooperation is the key word. Meowth346 accomplished as much as he did because not only did he possess the knowledge and talent, he also had the ambition and intuition to decipher the games. He did have most of the resources available to him, but the English data for FireRed/LeafGreen and Emerald is at least one example for instances in which he relied on others to provide him some of the resources. He seldom expressed his wishes to turn PokeFor into a wiki, knowing that cooperation would further the already high-end standards of the site. He was enthusiastic towards Bulbapedia at first for this reason, but the project took a much different direction than he had expected. You should not regard Meowth346's kind offer as a token of his approval of Bulbapedia--I assure you this is not the case. I have no place to speak on his behalf, but I will say that this is his way to ensure that the community does not completely deteriorate after he leaves. Do not expect him to hand you all the information without any substantial work, as that will establish very little. By working on the Bulbapedia so that PokeFor's contents blend with the existing information, and to a lesser extent vice-versa, a window of opportunity will be opened. PokeFor's contents can be made even more elaborate, as Meowth346 once wished that a wiki would accomplish, and with some time and much cooperation we may be able to reach a sufficient level so as to be able to extract and analyze data from future games.
Myself, I was offended by the inclusion of a large part of the Bulbagarden staff in the People category. I have already described how inappropriate I find the lack of distinction between the game creators and the fans, not all of whom even deserve to be acknowledged as having contributed to the community. Some people are known, or used to be known around the community for various reasons. That is not to say that those people necessarily contributed more than others, but if their contribution can be put in words, it should mean that it is appropriate to list them. If the person is not widely known and is still listed, it creates the impression that Bulbapedia is not as community-driven as it is made out to be, and is simply dedicated to Bulbagarden's needs. In other words, if the inclusion of the person does not serve any purpose behind that of the Bulbagarden Staff profile or the user page, I tend to deem it inappropriate. I see no reason why the community-related pages in the People category cannot simply be moved to a new category: Community People. If a certain page does not even belong to this category (that is, it pertains to the person more than to his contribution to the community), it is a good sign that the content should stay on the user page or in the person's Bulbagarden profile.
The community-related pages should always be categorized separately from the canon-related ones. Other than the People category, the Pokémon meta category includes the pages for the Crossover Pokédex Project and the Deoxys Media Player Project, both of which have nothing to do with the franchise. The Fanon page uses examples of Shipping, which should stay in their respective category--a simple explanation of the terminology is more than enough. Community-related pages should preferably not be used to represent Bulbapedia by listing them on the Main Page (this is currently not a problem). There should also be no room for allusions to fanon theories on the canon-related pages, such as the one listed at the bottom of Eusine's page. Finally, the priority of the top-level categories on the Main Page disturbs me greatly. It is not listed in alphabetical order, justifiably so, yet the order does appear to be random. First of all, the games should always be listed before the anime and manga. I would gladly open a debate on the subject, but I feel that you already realize that giving priority to the anime hinders Bulbapedia's status as a true Pokémon encyclopedia, and instead renders the entire project a mere part of Bulbagarden, which is undoubtedly anime-focused. The priority between the anime and manga is up to debate, but I tend to agree that the anime should be listed first for being endorsed by Nintendo. The TCG, though endorsed by Nintendo, should come after the manga for holding a separate share of the franchise. Pokémon, moves, characters, world and meta should follow in the end, as they deal with the ideas introduced in the former categories. This order should be followed in pages relating to the games, anime, manga and TCG (even organized pages, such as this one, give priority to the anime-related contents by listing the Japanese voice actor in the character's introduction and listing the anime category first). --Unown Lord
It is partially alphabetical, partially priority. Originally, it was the three main bodies of canon in alphabetical order, then two miscellaneous categories. The Pokémon category was later added between those two, because it was neither a body of canon nor a miscellaneous category. Then as we added more and more, it became more and more random looking.
Personally, I will regard Meowth346's offer as his last contribution to a project he had hopes for - such that he still remains one of the top 20 users on Bulbapedia, despite not having contributed in months.
But interesting you picked Crossover Pokédex Project, Deoxys Media Player Project as examples. You will note that on Talk:Deoxys Media Player Project, I complained that it had "limited relevance". I have not retracted that statement yet - but the zeitgeist appears to be in favour of keeping it. (Either that, or no one wants to be responsible for clicking that delete button.)
I think, you have highlighted a number of problems that the editorial board is not too pleased with, but we have only ourselves to blame - I may have personally contributed some nearly 2,000 edits, but I no longer edit actively, and neither does the Editor-in-Chief evkl. I therefore extend my invitation to you, in my capacity as Managing Editor, to join the editorial board. - 振霖T 12:12, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I appreciate your taking the time to address my points and am flattered by your invitation. What would my joining the editorial board entail? Does the editorial board consist of the entire Bulbagarden staff who have some part in Bulbapedia, or is it just you and evkl at the moment? I am merely looking for a way to take Bulbapedia in a different direction. I suppose that for all this time I have felt that any significant involvement on my part would not be enough to persuade others to turn to the same perspective. I hope that being on the editorial board will change this fact.
From here on in, seeing as Zhen's on vacation, I think I'll handle most of your queries. Joining the Editorial Board basically means that you take an active role in the executive-level decisions on the 'pedia. Currently, the editorial board is just Zhen and myself with Arcy and Damian sitting in from time to time. We do need new directions taken with the 'pedia, and as Zhen said, neither he nor I take active editing roles--we're more inclined towards the executive decisionmaking as of late. evkl 05:21, 21 Jul 2005 (UTC)

*Yawns*

As a long time visitor of the beloved Pokemon Forever Site, I often come to this site for one main reason: many Trainers data - battle e, contests, battle frontier etc. Do you mind send me all of the trainer data to me at [email protected]. Thanks for your time. I am really going to miss your great site for good... I first came here since the one warm summer of the year 2000....

I agree with and support Zhen's statement; we would be honored to work PokeFor's volumes of information into Bulbapedia.

Well, this has certainly been a surprise and a half. We'll be sad to see you stop work on your site Meowth, as will I'm sure a great many other people. I can only hope that we live up to the legacy of this inheritance. I'll contact you after I get home from University tonight regarding this Meowth. If you could arrange for us to have a temp. FTP account to download the PokeFor site with, so that we might store it on a local archive while we transfer its information to 'pedia, that'd be most appreciated. --Archaic 21:48, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Mm, no FTP access. No access to the original files and databases. People can get what they can from my pages, again as long as the reword it. No copy & pasting directly, please. This isn't a license to plagurize, just an affirmation to use and reword the information while it's still there. Of course, the Wayback Machine and Google, Yahoo, etc. have caches. Oh, and there's no way to contact me unless you e-mail me at my Gmail account. --Meowth346 21:53, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Well...that certainly makes things a lot harder. We weren't intending to plagurize, but having the original information saved locally while we re-write it would've helped a great deal, both in giving us a longer of period of time in which to transfer it, and in allowing us to put up a permanent memorial site of PokeFor as it was at the time it closed, seeing as the Wayback Machine won't be able to manage anything that uses a script (your dex for instance). --Archaic 22:15, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

About Japanese BULBAPEDIA

Hallo,I'm FPU in thiswiki and Nice to meet you. Do you know that I and Zhen Lin are making Japanese BULBAPEDIA which neme is pokemonwiki(ポケモンWiki). I think I must greet developer of BULBAPEDIA.

Thank you.

Partnership proposal

Just to let you know, i've proposed partnership with Bulbapedia (similiar to with StrategyWiki, but with differences). You may wish to discus it here, cheers Minun 15:40, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Bulbagarden Holiday Raffle

I'd like to try my hand at the raffle, so count me in.

Thanks very much.

Trainer-c, next time, please remember to sign your entry. ^^;; Anyway, I'll keep a check of your userpage to see how many entries you're entitled to. Remember to keep it updated. --Archaic 01:43, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

There is an ad that has been appearing for several weeks now that reads, "Free Pokémon Battle! Today Only!" First of all, what is Pokémon Battle? Are they using that to refer to Pokémon Battle Revolution due to limited add space? I doubt it. Also, yes, I said several weeks. Politoed666

I honestly don't know. We have no direct control over the ads that appear in the google ads, that all comes just based on what ads they have in their database to put up, and what text we have on the page. If you can (right) click on the ad and get me the URL it goes to, I can take a look. --Archaic 12:24, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Wiki

HI! I don't want to bother you, but, can you say to me how can I begin a Wiki, like Bulbapedia?(The one that I have in mind isn't about Pokémon, it was just an example ^^') -うずまきハルカ 22:23, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

If you don't want to spend any money, use a free wiki hosting site like editthis. posted by Flicky1991 13:47, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Veeeeeeery similar name

Um, I realised my name is one letter away from yours. Would this cause any problems? I hope not. (Oh, and while I'm here - how do I make/get a fancy signatre when I put down 4 tildes?) Archaeic 19:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

To answer your second question, edit the coding in the nickname section of your preferences and check the "Raw signatures" box. To answer your first question, as he is the general webmaster of Bulbgarden, maybe. Zhen Lin can change your user name if you want. --FabuVinny T-C-S 19:19, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks - I'm trying to add a few Electivire icons on either end to differentiate it from Archaic himself signing posts. (I wonder if it works now...) Archaeic 19:43, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Problem...solved.

TTEchidna probably notified you of a problem we were having with the Main Page the other day. Zhen Lin took care of it, so there's no need to trouble yourself with it. Thanks anyway. --ニョロトノ666 01:17, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Help!!

I'm a pretty new user, so I don't know who to contact for help with my account, so I'll just post it here and hope someone who can help me sees this. I was previously able to edit everything I wanted to on my homepage. Now I am recieving a message that says, "You do not have permission to edit pages in the User namespace." when I try to do anything to the page, or try to fix my signature page. Someone please help me (or bring this to the attention of someone who can)!!! -Theininen

I found out from TTEchidna & the front page talk that this isn't isolated to me. See my talk or the front talk (linked above) for more details. -Theininen

Images

Out of curiosity, impatientce, and lack of any other way to help, I was wondering how to download images to the site? -Theininen 01:56, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

You can't. Make yourself on Bulbagarden archives. From there, it's pretty much self-explanatory, but let me know if you need any help. --ニョロトノ666 02:08, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

My user page

Dear Archaic: I am Like, so desperate to create my userpage, but it won't let me, saying I have no permission. Actually, I was once known as ArceusMan,but your little April fools joke deleted my entire account. Email or user talk the reply to this question.

From: Master Arceus

The Message from the Editor says we're all not allowed to edit our Userpages because of mass abuse. It says so on the Main Page. BlueJirachi 20:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

And plus, the April Fool's Joke only lasted that day. You should have your old page back now. Would THIS happen to be you?? MoldyOrange 22:19, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
This bothers me as well, since I like editing personal pages, I would like to do the same here. But this means I have no rights to do this, and will get no rights? Kilik 10:08, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

I have an idea...

OK, I know a lot of people are totally desperate to edit their user pages (myself included) and I also read thenotice about edits every five minutes annihilating the server then I had an idea that might make everyone happy. Would it be possible that the admnins dish out a certain date to a user starting from whenever, sort of like an appointment. Example:

  • TTEchinda: 12th July
  • Archaic: 13th July
  • Wikid: 14th July

On this day that user could then be given the oppourtunity to edit their userpage by enabling the user to edit their page but only on that day. This way the server won't destroy itself and everyone can have their own personally edited pages. If they want to change it they could ask an admin for an "appointment" and so the admins don't get bombarded with requests about userpage edits you could have a one edit per month or whatever rule. Would that work? Wikid 16:29, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Thing is, some people have their own sandboxes in the user space as well. The community sandbox is so cluttered, that it takes forever to load... While I would like to have my own user page, I would use my own sandbox a lot more (if I had one). ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 16:55, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I've JUST been on the community sandbox, it only took two minutes, which to be fair isn't that long. Also, if its so cluttered why doesn't someone just go and delete their stuff once they've tested it along with the other stuff already tetsed, then it would take less time to load and therefore wiping out the need for a personal one.Wikid 17:25, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

User Page

Yeah I actually was known as arceusman before your little user: namespace deletion on april fools day. I made another account after you banned user namespace editing and, because of that, I HAVE NO USER PAGE! Is there a way of making it so I can create my userpage? thank you very much if you say yes.

Ads on this wiki

hey archaic ya know I am not a big fan on ads and I have one thing to ask of you: Please stop ads on bulbapedia! IT is making me like this site less. oh, and I created my account after you banned edits to the users. I have no Page! can you make it so i can quickly edit my page? thanks a lot!

The ads are no longer here as far as I can see, and the user space is editable again.....Good Day;DCM

Bulbapedia in Slovenian language

How can we have Bulbapedia in Slovenien language? Gregory 14:34, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

You're better off looking for an existing Slovenian Pokémon wiki that uses MediaWiki software and a Creative Commons license.
In the event one could conclude that such a wiki doesn't already exist, you'd then be best off obtaining a good server and beginning your own MediaWiki-software Creative Commons-licensed wiki. Since there's a Wikipedia in the Slovenian language, such a task is feasibly possible. Then, you'd be best off creating at least minimal stub articles for each of the 493 Pokémon; if the Pokémon have localized Slovenian names, use those. --Shiningpikablu252 15:07, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

So, what do you think? --Dragonbeastx 01:51, 24 October 2008 (UTC) *UPDATE* Any answer????............Dragonbeastx 20:15, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Um, no. You asked Archaic, and I'm not Archaic, but the answer is no. First off, you'd fail epically at answering the questions of new users. You've gotten blocked from editing the userspace because you ignored the warnings, and you're apparently not even familiar with one of the most basic link templates, {{u|(user name)}}. As for Tavi, most of his contributions are talk. --ニョロトノ666 20:37, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

For removing that Abomination Sad excuse for a user. He has been asking for itDCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))

What the heck did he do to warrant a ban for 6 months? I mean I'm not the biggest Kuki fan, but he has contributed a lot to the mainspace. I mean he got pictures for CODs that I was too lazy to get. Yeah, he got into edit wars frequently, that was his flaw, but I don't think you have the right to call him a sorry excuse for a user. There are other users here that I think disserve a ban more than Kuki does. You know, users who contribute NOTHING and just like to talk to people like its Myspace and only cause drama.
And pardon my words, but he's been making more edits to Bulbapedia than you have in the past year, Archaic. Okay, you may have been doing important things, but I don't think you have a right to call another user "useless". A user who has been contributing something almost everyday since the beginning of the year is not my definition of useless.
I honestly don't know what's happening to this administration lately... First TTEchidna, now this... I may not know the entire back story, but it just seems to me like the admins are blocking people for their own best interest. For what ever Kuki did off of Bulbapedia, it really shouldn't reflect upon him here...
If you want to block him for a couple days then fine. But six months is uncalled for. Those who vandalize pages get a lighter sentences... We are all human and we all make mistakes. This is just my 2 cents... --ケンジガール 05:59, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

There's nothing special with my sig coding there. Oo;; It's just use of the [size] tag, using the parameter size=1. - unsigned comment from Archaic (talkcontribs)

Administrator Status

In order to keep our Administrator list currently up-to-date, this is a generic "are you there" message.

Please, either edit the List of administrators to reflect your status (Active, Hiatus, Inactive), or reply here when you get the chance.

If there is no response after two weeks from today, you will simply be assumed as "Inactive" and marked as such. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 15:54, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Archaic, do you think that we should redirect the french/German/... names of pokémon to their english names, so if someone comes from... say... ... France!, and they type Bulbizarre into the search box, they'll come up short! To improve the wiki for other languages (but I don't want to make desisions I don't have authority to make) I ask you, do you want me to make the pages or not?--Pokemonguy1 03:14, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Speeding up the Server

I have noticed that over the course of the year, Bulbapedia has been slowing down exponentially, and have thought I might lend a thought. Bulbapedia has gotten very Server-Intensive, running many server-side scripts. Many of these processes could be converted from server-side PHP to client-side JavaScript. PHP slows down the serving time of web pages because it's an extra process the server has to run, but since JavaScript is a Client-Side script, the computer recieving the web page does the work for it. This eases the load on the Server, and doesn't take much time to do on the client computer. Please, consider this option and reply. I already contacted TTEchidna, and he pointed me to you. PhoenixGraphix 22:43, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

You do realise that we are int he process of moving to a new server, right? It's slow because of that, the downage and Platinum.--RexRacer 22:48, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Retaining a permanent block

At the moment, you have a permanent block in place for Kuki. Looking through the block log, I see that blocks of varying lengths have been in effect for this user since October. In May, the third permanent block was established, and the user's talk page was deleted about a week earlier.

This user goes by the name of Jack's Posse Fic on other wikis. Yesterday, JPF started making changes to the Phineas and Ferb Wiki. When we asked him to stop, he came up with a story that he had been secretly approached to make these changes by other admins on other wikis. The more we asked for details about this, the more his story changed and the more belligerent he became. Details can be found here.

Kuki has also vandalized art submitted to the deviantART website, and did so under the names "Kuki" and "artcookie", with the same claim that he was told he could do it. (TimeTravelingEchidna's blog on deviantART)

Since Kuki's block was put in place and removed many times, and even two permanent blocks were removed, I am recommending that the block stays in place this time. If you have any questions about this, contact me on my Discussion page. -RRabbit42 20:05, 26 July 2009 (UTC), admin of the Phineas and Ferb Wiki

i am not Archaic, obviously, but as a staff member who has been around during the Kuki saga, i 100% guarantee that Kuki will be blocked forever and ever and ever on this website and has no chance of ever returning. -- MAGNEDETH 20:10, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Can you help?

On my userpage, I kinda copied other people's templates to make the hide/show things. Now I somehow made a table of contents box, and one of the hide/show things is demented. I really need help, as I'm new. Thanks! Pringles 00:47, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

User page

Can you please change the policy so new users on Bulbapedia (such as myself) can edit their own user page? I don't understand why we can't even edit our own user page. Will this change take place or not? Also, what's the reason behind it so we can't edit our own user page? --IllaZilla (talk) 01:00, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

It's a spam issue. Before we started the policy, we had issues with spam bots registering simply to create user pages, which they'd fill with links for SEO Spam. We also had a number of people registering and doing up elaborate user pages without ever actually editing wiki articles. --Archaic (talk) 13:37, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Must...be...AUTOCONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on Bulbapadia for too long to not be autoconfirmed! I've made over TEN contributions to the wiki, too! Just click here! And being non-autoconfirmed is not only stopping me from creating my userpage, but also from uploading official Pokémon content for legal use on the mainspace! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!! Heck, I'll depart from the wiki if I have to! That's right. I'f I'm not autoconfirmed by NEXT YEAR, then I'm leaving Bulbapedia... FOREVER. So, unless you want me GONE, I suggest you make me an autoconfirmed user, OR ELSE. --YinYang21 (talk) 03:43, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

Archaic doesn't have the power to make a user autoconfirmed manually, nor does any other user. It is an automatic process done by the wiki software (hence autoconfirmed) based on both your number of edits and the length of time you've been a member of the site. The exact requirements are a secret, so I can't share that with you, sorry. Keep contributing to the mainspace for now and remember that the purpose of Bulbapedia is not to create userpages - social activites are for the forums. While I appreciate it's frustrating to not be allowed uploading images, be patient for now ^^' --ZestyCactus 03:49, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
To upload images, you have to go to the archives.--ForceFire 03:55, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
