By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 17:41, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Make sure to use the Preview button instead of adding and removing things repeatedly because you notice a mistake. Also, it is "Poké" with the accent over the e; it's in the character box below the edit window for easy use. Glik (talk) 15:00, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 15:10, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Bulbapedia:Userspace policy has that. Also, you still have to sign comments, even if it's on your own talk page. Glik (talk) 18:11, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Userboxes

Hello, could you replace the code for your userboxes with the template transclusion code, i.e. {{User FireRed}}? The categories are adding your user page to the categories for the userboxes. Thanks, ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 14:46, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

You copied and pasted the code for each userbox to your userpage, including categories. If you look at the bottom of your userpage, you can see the categories there, that should not be there. Linking and Pokémon

When linking, please double check to see what the page you're linking to actually is. In your edit to Ash's Scraggy page, you linked to Gold, Silver, and Crystal. These are all disambiguation pages, and are not the actually pages you were going for which was Gold, Silver, and Crystal. A good way to learn how to link properly is the List of link templates. Second, please make sure to write Pokémon as Pokémon (with an é) and not Pokemon (with an e). Hello. I moved your page on Pokefarm to your userspace. In it's current form, the page is unsuitable to be in the mainspace, as it contains only a very, very small amount of information. To have an idea as to how pages on fansites should be set up, please look at pages such as Serebii.net and Smogon. If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Instead, how about helping contribute to some of Bulbapedia's many articles?
