Welcome to Bulbapedia, AD2011!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:56, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Just a reminder to use the preview button when you edit. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 18:10, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Generation II

I can't speak for Dennou Zenshi or Zesty Cactus, but since neither of them seem to have made an effort to inform you why they reverted your trivium on the "Generation II" page, I thought I should come here and say it's incredibly likely that it's because now Generations I, II, and VI have introduced new types, so it's no longer notable. For the same reason that "first to do X since the last time something did X" isn't notable, "only one to do X except this other one that also did X" isn't notable either. The trivia sections would balloon out-of-control if we included all the almost-but-not-quite-unique things. Better to just keep it to unique trivia. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:18, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Exactly. It wasn't so different than something like "Prior to Generation V, Bruno was the only Fighting-type specialist in Elite Four" or "Prior to EP030, Bulbasaur was Ash's only Poison type.", both of which sound stupid--Den Zen 20:44, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
