As an art form, it fits in well with the other city names in the European versions which all have an apparent art theme. In addition, the Japanese name refers to a [[Shorea robusta|tree]] considered to be sacred in Hinduism and Buddhism, which ties in with what seems to be an Indian naming theme for this city.
