		Bulbasaur is Ben's partner Pokémon. Ben chose Bulbasaur after seeing how Erika's Vileplume was able to drive away a group of Rhyhorn from him, thus inspireing him to pick a Grass type Starter. Even though Bulbasaur is still young it knows powerfull moves such as Magical Leaf, Petal Dance and Grasswhistle.

		Ben caught Butterfree as a Caterpie in Viridian Forest, it soon evolved into a Butterfree. It usually travels outside it's Pokéball. It's known moves are Silver Wind, Psychic,Signal Beam and Iron Defense.

		Ben caught Dewgong in Route 9 when he lost his breath underwater,Dewgong saved Ben and brought him to safety. It usually used for water transport. It's known moves are Ice Beam, Water Pulse and Aqua Tail.

		Ben caught Chansey in Route 5. He ran into Chansey by luck and Chansey just followed Ben around untill his battle with Sabrina Chansey proved to be a member of Ben's team by defeating Sabrina's Kadabra Ben finally caught it after that battle. Chansey's known moves are Double-Edge, Softboiled, Thunderpunch and Attract

		Croconaw
		Ben caught Croconaw in New Bark Town. The Totodile that Prof Elm was going to give a new trainer evolved and became even more aggressive, for this reason Elm was going to give it to Officer Jenny for training. Ben offered to take Croconaw and train it to control it's anger. Croconaw's known moves are Ice Fang, Aqua Tail and Thrash.

		Misdreavus
		Ben caught Misdreavus in Dark Cave. Misdreavus was the outcast of the group and was banned from Dark Cave from the other Pokémon. Ben found Misdreavus wondering around outside Dark Cave entrance on Route 31 and Misdreavus befriended Ben right away and decided to join him. Misdreavus's known moves are Shadow Sneak and Shadow Ball.
