-With the unexpected changes brought by B2W2, I finally had myself a Magnemite in Unova! But what about the rest? I insisted on staying with Gen V Pokemon for the rest of the team. Emboar proved to be powerful, but lacking a friendly movepool. Rather aggravating having to gain BP to earn Brick Break just to give him something to use. Archeops had to be traded in (thanks Jo the Marten), but he is a beast. Give it {{m|Acrobatics}} and it will tear teams apart. His defenses are terrible, but he was usually fast enough to OHKO anyway. The moveset changes were kind to Magnemite, giving him Flash Canon, but the TM changes meant Shock Wave was no longer available. Volt Switch is annoying to use in single player. Simipour had to be traded in (thanks again to Jo) because there's no way I'm going to wait for the tiny chance for one to pop-up. She proved to be just fast enough and just strong enough to provide the power I needed. Krookodile is awesome. Defenses were terrible, but he did't care, he would rock the earth of just eat his opponents. Basculin rounded out as an HM slave. I was using a Leavanny (named Tivanny) for a while, and while she did a good job, I didnt want to saddle anyone with Cut and Dive. Basculin never saw battle.

I used her for a while, but I didn't want to saddle anyone with Cut and Dive. Basculin initially rounded out as an HM slave and never saw battle, but once I found out that Dive wasn't necessary at all, I brought Leavanny back. She is quite handy for dealing with Water/Ground Pokémon and is classy as hell (while she tears opponents in half).
