My name is Caitlin, however, online I go by the name Hikari.
It all started about 2 years ago, when I was 14 years old. Being a girl and all with hormones and stuff, I started searching for Pokémon SoulSilver shipping fanart. I ended up at deviantart.com, where I discovered an entire Pokémon fandom; filled with girls like me!
Being able to talk about Pokémon with so many people, with girls (You can't go all like "AMG Entei is so big and fluffy aaaah" when talking to boys), really made my love for Pokémon flourish more than ever before.
It was at that time that I became somewhat obsessed with Pokémon: I got more into the game, but also into the manga and partially into the anime too.
And Bulbapedia served as my gateway to all this information, and somewhat became my bible.
Absorbing information from Bulbapedia was fun and all, but after a while I felt the urge to add things to pages myself; preferably pages that I was interested in, such as Alto Mare and Silver.
One of my favorite things to add to Bulbapedia are Easter eggs that I have noticed in movies; the city Alto Mare from Pokémon Heroes is full of it.
I dislike fighting, and because of that, my favorite type is Psychic. I think it is wonderful to be able to do something with the power of your mind instead of brute and mindless strength. Because of this I am very proud to share my real name with a psychic trainer, Caitlin, who also somewhat resembles my real appearance.
