I (Japanese: サブリーナSaburiina) am the Gym Leader of Pinkan Island's Gym, known officially as the Pinkan Gym. I hand out the Phoenix Badge to Trainers who defeat me. I specialize in training Eeveelutions.
Sumomo is my Vaporeon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee along with all its other brothers and sisters evolved after it found a Water Stone in a Poké Mart. Vaporeon became a difficult Pokémon as it enjoys hiding in the water and I often have to get to get it for me. Vaporeon is only one of three female Eeveelutions the others being Espeon and Glaceon.
Satsuki is my Jolteon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee along with all its other brothers and sisters evolved after it found a Thunder Stone in a Poké Mart. Jolteon became a difficult Pokémon as it enjoys running around and has learned Dig, so it is harder to find.
Koumé is my Flareon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee along with some of its other brothers and sisters evolved after it found a Fire Stone in a Poké Mart. Flareon became a difficult Pokémon as it enjoys running around and enjoys using Flamethrower on me and my other Pokémon.
Sakura is my Espeon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee evolved after becoming happy and evolved whilst taking a nap one afternoon. Espeon enjoys sleeping and loves being stroked. Espeon is also the only other female Eeveelution along with Vaporeon and Glaceon.
Tamao is my Umbreon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee evolved after becoming happy and evolved whilst battling one night. Umbreon enjoys fighting and loves to eat.
Nayoko is my Leafeon whom I captured as an Eevee. Eevee hatched from one of seven eggs I received from a day-care worker. Since then, Eevee had become a major part of my team, watching every contest since it has hatched and even helped out me during an Orienteering contest before I took on Pike Queen Lucy. Eevee evolved into Leafeon after training in Eterna Forest. Leafeon enjoys travelling and loves to hunt.
The Pinkan Gym is located on the West side of Pinkan Island. It is a series of 9 buildings, linked together by multiple corridors. This building is extremely difficult to navigate due to dead ends and the use of multiple HMs. Inside each building exists a miniature Gym. In each Gym the challenger will have to battle a series of level 3 students to gain access to the one Level 2 student whom they must defeat to gain the token to travel to the next building. Each building is dedicated to the type of one Eeveelution, with each student battling with one member of the Eevee family. The tokens resemble various Badges of the Pokémon World.
In the final room the challenger will have to battle me. However, it is impossible to challenge me without gaining all of the first eight tokens. Once I am defeated I will hand out the Phoenix Badge, a symbol of Eevee's revolutionary evolution capabilities. I will also give out TM45 (Attract), TM03 (Water Pulse), TM34 (Shock Wave), TM48 (Skill Swap), TM79 (Dark Pulse), TM19 (Giga Drain) and TM07 (Hail).
Once my Gym has been defeated, the challenger will be able to automatically challenge the Pokémon League. However, the only person to challenge my Gym and win was Cynthia, who later went on to become the Champion of the Sinnoh Region, from which she originated.
My Challenging Team
I originally trained Water-type Pokémon, but I have diversified since I gained my first Vaporeon. My philosophy is that a trainer should train their Pokémon hard but look after them well. The bond between Trainer and Pokémon should be unbreakable. My first Espeon was gained due to my constant love, care and attention towards it when it was an Eevee. I will usually battle with a team entirely composed of Eeveelutions, however I may occassionally use other Pokémon which reside at the Pinkan Gym, including the rare Pink Butterfree which can only be found on Pinkan Island due to its consumption of Pinkan Berries.
PKMN Center and PokéMart
At the front of my Gym there is a Pokémon Center where the trainer may heal and rest their Pokémon. The Center also acts as a hotel where the trainer may relax and spend the night before their big challenge with the Pinkan Gym. In the Center we have three separate Nurse Joys, who use either Chansey or Blissey.
There is also a PokéMart which sells supplies necessary for challenging the Gym.
