Tier 1: Legendary Power

These Pokémon have incredible base stats, amazingly wide movepools and helpful abilities. They are easily capable of overpowering Pokémon from lower tiers.

Tier 2: Very Strong

While not as powerful as the Pokémon in the tier above, these Pokémon are still a force to be reckoned with and can defeat Pokémon from the lower tiers without much difficulty.

Tier 3: Perfectly Usable

These Pokémon are solid choices, and will not let you down. There may be better alternatives, but these Pokémon are still very capable of holding their own.

Tier 4: Alright

These Pokémon are probably outclassed by quite a few others, but they still have their own niche tasks to fulfill.

If you prefer to use these Pokémon, then they won't always let you down. There are probably better alternatives for these, but it comes down to personal preference.

These Pokémon are rather lackluster, not being as strong as others. Most of these are middle stages, though a few unlucky fully evolved Pokémon may find themselves here.

Tier 7: Rather Bad

These Pokémon tend to be the best first-stage Pokémon around. They still won't tend to hold a candle to evolved Pokémon, but they can be used.

These Pokémon are not as severely crippled as the ones in the tier below, but they still have extremely low base stats. Mainly because they tend to be first-stage Pokémon.
