Hi, I'm Torchickens; a moderator and Wiki Sysop of the currently offline Glitch City Laboratories forums and an adminstrator on Starfy Wiki. I also make videos of Pokémon glitches on Youtube as ChickasaurusGL. Unfortunately, I might not be able to edit Bulbapedia as much as I used to, but I'll still make the odd edit to Bulbapedia when I can.

I plan on expanding the page about the Pokémon Mobile System GB and making an article about the Mobile Adapter GB itself, with information about the Mobile Trainer cartridge that came with it.

Below is a primarily subjective comparison to some glitch Pokémon against Smogon's Generation I OU and Uber tiers based on ridiculous facts surrounding these glitch Pokémon. I've set my own glitch battles using teams with these Pokémon but I've yet to test them against purely OU Pokémon. See below.

Hi, I'm Chickasaurus (alias Torchickens). I use the name Torchickens in most places, but on Bulbapedia I'm called Chickasaurus.

I used to be joint head admin of Glitch City Laboratories with Photon-Phoenix, until stepping down; but am still interested in glitches.

I set myself an informal guideline not to use the Q trick or save corruption exploits to get the moves, although I did allow level 100+ moves even though there is no clear cut way to get some glitch Pokémon past level 100 without such methods. I restricted the moves to equivalent trade, learnset moves, level 100+ 'advance' moves and TM/HM moves.
I'm also staff on Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance member sites Starfy Wiki (now really working behind the scenes and to train my bad Japanese) and NintendoWiki, where I've found a new fascination with general Nintendo.

I should have allowed Johto guard glitch Pokémon tradeover moves for those with index numbers in ranging from 1-250 but there was no clear verification that the glitch worked then.

Yellow only glitch. It is of (Invalid)/Normal type and becomes 'M in Red/Blue.

This is a rather unusual wall, which additionally acts as a huge offensive threat. It has 33 Base HP, but it still manages to take a +6 Amnesia Psychic from Mewtwo and survive with ~1/2 of its HP without any stat boosts. Why? It has 206 Base Defense and 236 Base Special and it has 233 Attack and access to physical STAB Normal attacks to equally excel against potent special walls such as Chansey. It doesn't care much about Paralysis because its speed is awful anyway. It especially works great under Leech Seed.

When studying TEFL, my teacher told me "it takes a lot to truly know a word". Sometimes when people do translations from Japanese to English, the style/form/connotations are ignored - for instance; "difficulties" as opposed to "problem" - we don't ask "do you have a problem" but rather "you look troubled is there anyway I can help?"; in that case this may suggest you need to mix in with the culture too. Just like English, Japanese also has conjugations, like the dictionary form (する) , stem form (して), present indicative (します) and styles of language considered more polite than others. For this reason my Japanese above probably sounds broken too. Generation I and II glitch Pokémon base stats stat calculations (I edit this and then preview the page without saving to find the maximum and minimum stats):

(658 on other generations' scale)
 • Minimum stats are calculated with 0 EVs and IVs of 0.
 • Maximum stats are calculated with 63001 EVs and IVs of 15.
 • Total on other generations' scale counts this Pokémon's Special stat as both Special Attack and Special Defense.

Be careful when translating

(Also you need to do a balanced amount of listening, reading, writing, speaking to integrate in another country that uses a different language)

Don't rely much on Google Translate. It does create structure, but that structure needs fine-tuning with knowledge of grammar and style. There is also the complication that the completely wrong word is given; so before using a word, make sure it means the right thing. Is Kumo Ojiisan Mr. Clouds or Mr. Spider? (In Starfy he is Mr. Clouds). This is also why kanji helps, where in English you need to think more than a machine to distinguish e.g. crane (the bird) and crane (the machine at construction sites) (also when translating from English to Japanese be aware of honomyns).
