Thanks Martinomos. This just needs a function where you can have multiple (like Ash). ht14 22:49, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

We have to create a new one for that. Changing this one screws up countless pages. MoldyOrange 22:53, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Actually, no we don't, only two pages use this one to begin with. MoldyOrange 22:55, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
It's only being used on one or two right now, Moldy.
I like the way Electabuzzzz handled Ash. We could set up the template to do it, but it would involve switches and all sorts of crap I don't feel like dealing with.
Also, I guess I shouldn't have bolded that, huh? --((Marton imos)) 22:55, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Oh...well, we have other articles that say something like: This article is about *. For the ___, see ___. Do you understand? ht14 22:57, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I think this template is supposed to be subst-ed, and the text is supposed to be on the page, NOT in a template. That could be why only two pages used it. MoldyOrange 23:00, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Would this work though? This article is about {{{1}}}. For {{{2}}}, see [[{{{3}}}]]. ht14 23:02, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Isn't that what it is now?
It was just created a few minutes ago. That's why only two (three now) pages use it. --((Marton imos)) 23:03, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Not true. Now others like Paul and Southern Island can use it. ht14 23:04, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'm convinced, carry on. MoldyOrange 23:06, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
We should create one for the "If you were looking for the...". There are a few of those. MoldyOrange 23:10, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
But let's wait on that one for when TTE comes back, that one seems a bit more confusing to do. MoldyOrange 23:13, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Possible slight edit to Redirect code

Part of the redirect code includes a bevel line (created by "----" [four en-dashes]) which isn't used in Wikipedia and just generally doesn't look right. For comparison here are two example of what I mean:

Note how in the Bulbapedia article there is a bevel line below the Redirect text, while the Wikipedia article lacks the bevel line below its "See also" text. With the bevel line in the Bulbapedia article, it make it look like the "Super Effective" subsection is a main section (like "Type Effectiveness") when it really isn't. Thus, feel that we should remove the bevel line from below the Redirect code just for consitency.

Whaddya think? I didn't remove it myself because I'm not sure if these kind of design edits are something only mods/admins can make. -- Nick15 22:37, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

Well this is an old discussion that never got touched... But anyway, might as well respond. I think the bevel line is useful when the template is used at the top of the page, (see Gordon (Hoenn)), but yeah, how it shows up on the Damage modification#Super effective section is a bit ugly. Perhaps this should be divided into two templates, one that can be used at the top of a page with the bevel line, and one that's a little more oriented towards redirects that go to specific sections. Return to "Redirect" page.
