::Well I and all my friends noticed it right away. Also, Pokémon have kept their cries since their generational debut, granted, but all moves have had new sound effects for each generation. Its pretty odd that moves like Water Gun and Quick Guard are now using soundeffects from as far back as GenI. Also, I'd hardly say any trivia is "needed." That's why its called "trivia."
