She's sick?
I thought that it was just that she was a new baby and that's why she's in bed. (Despite using the same sprite as little girls)
Here's what the father says(At least in the English version):
Oh, hello! Welcome to the PEPPER household. I have a question for you. Have you ever baby-sat? You see, I'm a new father, so raising a child is all new to me. And I have a problem.
