Uproar ending
According to UPC and some tests, Uproar ends when its user falls asleep or freezes in Generation III, but not in Generation IV or V. I don't know about other generations (and I don't want to test), so currently I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning (or if so, how). Also, UPC mentions it also ends in GenIII if its PP is reduced to zero during the effect (Grudge, I guess?), but doesn't mention it for later generations. - In Generation III, falling asleep does end Uproar, but I'm not sure whether the "Pokémon cannot fall asleep" effect disappears as soon as the user falls asleep (falling asleep due to Yawn also breaks out of it, so it's not just something that happens when the Pokémon is unable to use Uproar). It definitely doesn't end when the user falls asleep in Gen IV. I'm not sure how a Pokémon using Uproar could fall asleep in Gen V. --SnorlaxMonster 17:35, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Exactly, Uproar' effect ends if user is prevented from using this attack, (..) or when user falls asleep in Gen III. That bolded thing is absent in Gen IV (per UPC and both of our tests).
- I too think it's unlikely you can have them fall asleep by any means from Generation V onward, I was basically talking freeze here. (I'm assuming freeze works like sleep, but actually I'm not 100% sure anymore.) Pokémon may also be fully paralyzed, flinch, be confused, infatuated, suffer a lack of PP, a lack of target, etc., all of which might differ among generations. I believe it might not be specific to Uproar (but possibly to all consecutively executed moves), but right now it's really just a sophisticated guess. I'm still unsure if what we do know is worth mentioning, so I guess I'd be fine with leaving it at that. Nescientist (talk) 15:44, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
