:::I really had similarly bad luck with Kelpsey Berries which is pretty frustrating, I know :^P One way to make things easy with the EV berries is to rank up a berry shop at Join Avenue to at least 9 so that you can get some EV berries that you probably want rather than leaving it to chance with the breeder. The reason for my doubt is that the lone user who confirmed this, and added it to the articles, outright wrote that there's an equal chance of getting any of the Berries, which is not correct.
