Type

Should this page be redirected to 'Type (TCG)' in accordance with the new transfer from Elemental type? I don't wanna touch this without permission. --Spriteit 12:39, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Calling again for comment (and adding move template to garner attention, probably should have done that the first time) --Spriteit 13:39, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Type characteristics?

As described on the Pokemon Rulebook, each TCG type has its own general style of play (Grass-types having lots of healing moves, Fire-types discarding Energies for high damage, etc.). I think it'd be nice to have generalized descriptions for each type on their respective pages. Drbazzi (talk) 02:39, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Move to Energy Type (TCG)

It appears that this concept has a full name "Energy Type". Rulebook, Obsidian Flames Press Release, the card database, and Pokemon.com articles all agree. As per the "Rapid Strike style", "Single Strike style", and "Fusion Strike style" pages, which use the full name of the concept rather than the more frequently used shorthand, a page move is in order. (While we're at it, the topic of page titles really shouldn't be something I'm extrapolating from other articles. Where is the TCG manual of style to answer these kinds of questions?) Closer look says the phrase is "Energy type", uncapitalized for the "type". Salmancer (talk) 21:37, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
Return to "Type (TCG)" page.
