Trivia- Is This Worth Adding?

Here is what I want to put under the second bullet: "** Additionally, a second preview for DP158 used a part of this opening."User:BAC510 20:44 December 31, 2009 (UTC)

  • No. It's True But It's Not Worth Adding To Trivia. It'll Most Likely Be Removed. --Manaphy1 20:03, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Lyrics

I thought electabuzz wanted to rid Bulbapedia of that lyric format and use the other one. Shouldn't it go back the other way? --ケンジガール 11:11, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I only looked at High Touch1 and Together. tc²₆tc26 11:13, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
So now do we prefer 2 columns or 1 table with 3 columns?--tobytse 12:51, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
1 table. 2 columns. --electAbuzzzz 15:24, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Dawn's Togekiss

Although it shows up next to Buneary, it doesn't appear in the brief group overhead shot. Should we count this as an error or leave it because Togekiss has yet to be captured? Aura-Knight 14:50, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Torterra and Infernape too Kamus, the kpo... 16:49, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
It's not an error. Just a spoiler. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 19:42, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Spoilers, but No Spoilers?

So I fail to understand why it is acceptable to say Infernape and Togekiss are clearly Ash and Dawn's in the summary, but we can't put that in the list. We know who they belong too and you can't avoid not putting it in the summary. So why hide them. --HoennMaster 05:33, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Hehehe, I was about to ask the same question. Everything is crystal clear and confirmed. So why to hide them? One more thing, in the article, there should be a spoiler section too. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 07:56, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Can't someone make it so the viewer can choose to see it or not with the [show] button? That seems like the best solution to me. --ケンジガール 11:08, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Perfect but the problem is that there is no such coding available (on bulbapedia, I think). How to do that? --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 15:16, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
What do you mean? There is coding allowing you to do that.

I'll put the show/hide stuff on there.Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 22:23, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for the info, I didn't know that. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 16:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Torterra, Infernape and Togekiss

I think we should put them into the Trivia of Ash and Dawn. I mean, we know from who they are, so why shouldn't we? What is the problem? The intro says all about what's gonna happen. And maybe Ash will switch Pokemon in the league. I think this because all of ash's Pokemon stood behind hem at the end of the opening.--MeDeoPal 07:21, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Let's keep it out of the characters' trivia pages until it has been confirmed. (Already, we have seen Ash's Infernape; just wait a few more episodes for Torterra and Togekiss.) And to clarify, we didn't see ALL of Ash's Pokemon--his 30 Tauros, for example? More specifically, his Kingler and Sceptile are missing. Again, let's keep those under wraps until they're official.

References to other openings

There seems to be alot. I noticed references from Ok,Meazes Pokemon Master (Whiteberry),Challenger,Spurt, and Together. Should we put this? ~Vegeta

Like what...? The only similarities I can see to any other openings is Ash running in the beginning, which looks vaguely (very vaguely) like the beginning of battle Frontier. Reign 02:42, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
I can find some. At the point where Mewtwo and Mew fly by is a reference to the first opening, the same thing with the Rayquaza and Deoxys flying by. Although this video is kind of a remix of it, at 0:38 - 0:40 shows what I'm talking about. - Vhayes1992 02:53, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
MPM(whiteberry)-Ash chasing Ho-oh looks very similiar. Challenger-Rayquaza flying by. Together-Dawn's pokemon pop out in a similar way. Ready Go!-all Ash's pokemon are put together in a similar way.Ok- personally I thought the Mew and Mewtwo was from here. ~Vegeta

Pipe links

It's okay to use them for Pokémon battles and moves as that's what they are actually referring to. But to link revolution to the Wii? That's just stupid. They aren't talking about the Wii. Neither are they talking about link cables when they are communicating. Don't get carried away with linking. --ケンジガール 00:45, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Those links are really stupid. --Mr.lol 00:49, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Definitely. And that's the official Project Music stand on the matter. Only link lyrics when they give direct references. --electAbuzzzz 10:25, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

The Order of Ash's Pokemon

The hideously out of date (but I imagine still relevant) manual of style says to list Pokemon in the order in which they were obtained. Just to clarify, are Ash's Sinnoh Pokemon in the opening exempted from this rule because they're on the current cast, whereas his reserves are not? Because if we're following the MoS then they should be at the bottom. The order in the Spurt! article is in line with that.

No need to worry?

I know Dawn's Daijobu is translated as No need to worry in the english dub

but is it necessary to use it here? it's one of the few things that irk me....

it's not dawn singing so shouldnt you use the proper translation?

just sayin'.. (Ataro 02:42, 6 April 2010 (UTC))

Just because it's an English dub of Pokemon doesn't mean that their translations are inaccurate. 梅子 02:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Togekiss

In the list of characters, Dawn's Togekiss is listed, but in the trivia, it says it hasn't appeared in the group shots. Clarification? --ルレ 21:59, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

Watch the opening. The only part Togekiss appears is that one shot with Buneary. It is not present in the group shots, such as when the legendary birds fly over the group. 梅子 22:16, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

Trivia worthy?

Don't the openings usually update with evos? If so, Cyndaquil has yet to be shown to have evolved yet... ht14 21:49, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
