Unlocking Lucario

Actually, in the Subspace Emissary, you need to use Meta Knight and defeat him to unlock Lucario. Simply meeting him won't do. ShinyRayquaza 19:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, of course. And there'll be other ways, too, but let's wait until Dojo explicitly states them to avoid speculation...--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 21:29, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
You meet Lucario and immediately battle and then Lucario is unlocked. Nothing incorrect there. If you want the details, go to our articles on Lucario or The Subspace Emissary. --FabuVinny T-C-S 15:04, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, another way to get him around is to play a certain number of VS. matches. But I wish the release date was a week closer instead... ShinyRayquaza 21:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
And also most likely another way, like Luigi and Ness Midnight Celtic 02:04, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
The third method is to complete the 5 target tests with one character. And be glad you don't live in Europe. --FabuVinny T-C-S 13:46, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
I don't think you have to use Meta-Knight? I defeated Meta-Knight with Lucario and still unlocked him/her/it. (I always seem to do things backwards, huh...) Midnight Celtic 14:48, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
You only have to win the fight; it doesn't matter who you use. Diachronos 23:51, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Hay look

Newest update on the site has Lucario on it. How to unlock is of course, the Subspace Emmisary, play 100 brawls, and beat Target Smash on all difficulty levels. Tina δ  02:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

And today we have the Spear Pillar image I was waiting for. --FabuVinny T-C-S 23:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Pikachu's Final Smash

Um, Fabu-Vinny, you made a mistake. In your last edit, you made it say that Pikachu's Final Smash is Jigglypuff's. Since its protected, you'll have to fix it. --Theryguy512 17:27, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Space and Time

I uploaded these images. Now you do whatever you want with them. Images of Dialga and Palkia at the Spear Pillar from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You can see the bluish and purplish hue in the background.

Well actually, I already uploaded the last one that you did. It's on Final Smash. --Theryguy512 21:23, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Okay well 5 images PokeManiac102  21:23, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Pictures

Can the in-game pictures you take be moved to a computer or the photo channel in any way?

And ont he topic of SSBB, if you change your brawl settings do they still count towards the number of brawls you need to be in to be able to unlock the next character?

Thanks, Uses Wikipedia Alot 16:49, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't know if the pictures can be moved to a computer, but changing the Brawl settings doesn't reset your number of brawls. TTEchidna 20:29, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm guessing yes. as long as you've got an SD card, I'm assuming they are saved as JPEGs, so, um, yeah. I know you can move the stages on to your computer, but I'm not sure of the pics, or movies. Midnight Celtic 13:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I'd think it'd be the other way around, considering that you'd have more use for images and movies on a computer than a random stage that'll just sit there. But eh. Tina δ  14:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Electrode's false Explosion

Out of like the 100 times I've obtained an Electrode, never once has it not exploded.

There have been times when it looks like it's not going to explode but then does it anyway. Did anyone actually get an Electrode that didn't explode? If not, I think we should change what this says. I know it's what the official website says but that doesn't mean it's true. --ケンジガール 21:19, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

I've gotten one or two. It's really cool. If you pick it up and throw it after it fizzles out, sometimes it'll explode then, making it a more effective weapon than ever. But if you don't, it just sits there for a few seconds and vanishes like any other Pokémon. --Martonimos((Talk)) 23:04, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Can you really pick up an Electrode when it's a dud?BlueJirachi 20:12, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

You can always pick up an Electrode. Seconds before it explodes, it's determined a lot of matches for me. =D User:Spatula 01:38, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I have gotten many exploding Electrodes. That I have tried to pick upDCM
I have yet to find an Electrode that didn't explode at all. They either: Explode normally, or fizzle out and sit there for a few seconds before suddenly doing the entire "charging" animation in about one second and exploding. You can pick them up if they fizzle out; just make sure you throw them quickly (nothing worse than dying because an Electrode exploded right in your face...). Jirachi Description

On the Jirachi description it says it drops "some stickers" while in my game it always drops 7 stickers. I've gotten Jirachi twice so it may have just been luck. It also could have been a reference to Jirachi Wish Maker because there are seven days that it is awake. Also Celebi has dropped 5 trophies every time I got it. I have gotten it 3 times. Mew always drops 1 CD. Can someone else confirm if this is in every game and then update the page.--User:23-03-33

When I get Jirachi, it drops tons of stickers. The one time it had at least 10 fall. Haven't had Celebi in a while though, but Mew always drops one CD, or if all CD's are obtained, one sticker. Dexington 02:11, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

On my game, Celebi only drops one trophy --Metagross72 03:24, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Jirachi doesn't give a certain amount of stickers. I got up to ten before and as low as two. Pyles 22:51, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Close ups

How do you guys take those close up detailed images? Mine seem to be somewhat farther at max zoom. *Tc26* 03:56, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

They come from the official site. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 11:56, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Characters

Shouldn't there be a list of every Character rather then just the Pokémon characters?--MysteryHeff? TALK 08:19, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

No, since we're only focusing on the Pokémon aspect. Anyone can simply go to Wiki to find the rest. ht14 20:02, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Project Crossovers

Maybe we should add Super Smash Bros. characters to Bulbapedia. I know it may seem out of place for characters such as Mario, Samus Aran, Solid Snake, and Sonic the Hedgehog to have their own page on Bulbapedia but the other wikis have crossover characters. Those characters have interacted with Pokémon characters, making them somewhat involved in the Pokémon universe. Maybe I'll start Project Crossovers, a Bulbapedia Project about crossovers. SeanWheeler 13:52, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Samus, Mario, Link etc.. have their own wiki's and articles. We're a wiki for Pokémon. This game (probably) is a part of Project games.--ForceFire 14:26, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Bulbapedia:Notability requirements Smash Bros. isn't the Pokémon universe - it's a mish-mash of all Nintendo franchises. That means we cover the Pokémon aspects of the series but not the series as a whole. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 15:46, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Not just that, but we may be setting up an all-Nintendo wiki soon enough, in collaboration with the other four NIWA wikis. TTEchidna 06:54, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Why link to Super Mario Wiki?

Many of the characters links to Super Mario Wiki? That wiki is for stuff relating to the Mario series. If the NIWA doesn't have that franchise, just link it to Wikia. Sonic should link to Sonic News Network. SeanWheeler 19:31, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Because it's the only page in NIWA about them. Face it, we're not going to link to Wikia. CuboneKing 19:32, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Why not? What's wrong with Wikia? SeanWheeler 19:56, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Surely you remember Talk:Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance#Wikitroid, right? That and Wikia is the biggest grammar fail I have ever seen. Minus my own Wikias, however. CuboneKing 20:01, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Title Mismatch

Bulbapedia says that the Japanese meaning of their title is Great Fray Smash bros X or something. SSB Wiki states it as Dariontou Smash Bros x or along those lines. Who's correct? Pikabuddy II 05:10, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Says this down in their notes: Dairantou = Great Fray. The Smash wiki just didn't translate it in the title like we did. So we're both right. --ケンジガール 05:15, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

New SSB Game

It might be a little too early to ask, but should we create a new article about the next Super Smash Bros. Game? This question came to mind when I was reading a Nintendo Power interview with someone who worked on the game. If anything is known about it, we probably should feature an article on it, since I think it's safe to say that Pokemon will be featured in this game, since it has been featured in every SSB game so far. (Charizard101 (talk) 19:50, 30 September 2012 (UTC))

I'd say it's far too early right now, given that the games don't even have a title yet. - Blazios talk 20:16, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay, I'll keep an eye on the Smash Bros. Wiki and if they come up with anything notable about the game, such as it's name, I'll mention it. (Charizard101 (talk) 20:24, 30 September 2012 (UTC))
