Hedges

We already know that some hedges in western Striaton are Pikachu, but couldn't the other hedges very well be made to look like Pidove? I'll change it, but if anyone finds official proof otherwise, i can undo it. EvilKirikizan 13:20, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Possible name origin

There is a region in the brain called the striatum. It is important for regulating fine motor control and the reward pathways in the brain. It is also connected to addiction. Could the city name be a (very vague) reference to this area of the brain? Probably not but it's possible.. The introductory sections of the game are intended to get you addicted to the game? maybe? Unlikely. It seems a very vague reference, and all of the Unova cities' English names are cloud-inspired, so it doesn't really fit. --SnorlaxMonster 13:10, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
