:It would most likely fail. While non-Shadow pokemon can use Shadow moves if given to them with a cheating device (source: my XD Party), if they could be Sketched, then the Pokemon could be traded to R/S/E/FR/LG, where the moves do not exist, and would probably fuck your game up.
