. . . O.o

"Scrappy-Doo, the young nephew of Scooby-Doo, is usually the member of the team that unmasks fake ghosts."

WTF? Why is this in here? シンジShinjiLover,Edits 10:12, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Probably because whoever wrote it didn't know that "scrappy" is a word meaning "full of fighting spirit," and thus pretty close to its Japanese name of "Spunk." It's a huge stretch, so I'm going to remove it. Sqoon 22:54, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Type

Does this mean the opponent is typeless or is its immunity just removed? ht14 14:00, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Scrappy is comparable to the moves Foresight and Odor Sleuth in regards to type coverage. It simply ignores the immunities. This means that a hypothetical Ghost/Steel Pokémon would take ½× against Normal and 2× against Fighting. --Shiningpikablu252 14:42, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Wonder Guard

Does this take precedence over Wonder Guard? Tk3141 21:28, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

It would allow you to hit a Ghost-type Pokémon with Wonder Guard as long as it has another type that is weak to Fighting. Normal would still fail regardless because no type is weak to Normal and Wonder Guard prevents damage from non-super-effective moves. So it would let you hit Wondertomb/Eye with a Fighting-type move, but not Shedinja. --SnorlaxMonster 11:05, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Mega Lopunny

I noticed that Mega Lopunny is the only Pokémon that has Scrappy as her Ability and is both a Normal and Fighting-type, the two types that Ghost-type Pokémon are immune to under normal gameplay. Is that trivia worthy for this page, or should it go on Lopunny's page? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:45, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
