Head Image?

All right. Who thinks the image on the article should be changed to something better? This pic has a Toxicroak in a weird pose and the background just makes it all the more creepier. Jmath 06:08, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Change with what? tc26 06:19, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
There was another pic that was there in the page awhile back. I think it was much better than this. Jmath 06:23, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
These would be the two images in question (I added them to appear beside this topic), I would have to believe due to the history of the article. I believe the proposed image looks much better, as the current image has Toxicroak in a very strange pose. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 06:25, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
The present pic is still not that good. Toxicroak is in shadow and it doesn't take most of the pic. Jmath 06:46, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
I vote for the proposed image. --Kyoufu Kawa 09:04, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Toxicroak is supposed to look "creepy". I say no change. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 15:48, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Why in the world does Toxicroak have to look creepy? Jmath 16:03, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

(resetting indent) Because that's how Toxicroak are. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:49, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Toxicroak may appear to be "creepy" but it doesn't need an image that makes it look malformed. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 00:53, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, I've put both images on now. Hopefully the problem is now solved. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:56, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Thing is, it doesn't really solve anything. This is a discussion of what picture is better for the head image. Plus, this article is quite small right now, and having a head image and a second image is possibly too much at this time. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 02:48, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Seriously, what exactly is so bad about using both images? Just because the article is small, it doesn't mean that we can only use one image. There's still more text than images. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 03:26, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
That matter about the pic has to be really decided. I thought the Dark Pulse pic was already agreed on, but apparently the disagreement is still there. Jmath 22:06, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
I like tc26's (I spelled it in lowercase 'cause that's how how spells it in his signatiure) picture better. It shows Toxicroak's full body. The Dark Pulse picture only shows its arms/hands, head, neck, and the top of its stomach. --Chocolate 20:07, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Gender

If Toxicroak is a female in the games, then don't you think it's also female in the anime? I know what you're thinking, "But Toxicroak wasn't shiny in the games either," but, come on, I'm sure the genders are still the same. I just want to get some feed back before I change it.--Starlight the ampharos 01:55, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Different cannons, possibly different genders. The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 01:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Ah, but the anime DOES NOT always follow the games!!! Why was Ash able to carry a Hippopotas on his head in the anime if it ways 101 pounds in the game??? --Theryguy512 01:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes, but this article is about Saturn's Toxicroak, a Pokémon that appears in the animé and the games. If we have all of Brock's animé-only relatives in his infobox, with a disclaimer, I don't get why we shouldn't put this Toxicroak's gender with a disclaimer too, sort of like Roark's Rampardos's page does it. In fact, this page used to have that (I know, I put it there), but now I notice it's been taken away... Memo326 05:32, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes, maybe we could put something like "Female (cofirmed in games only)"--Starlight the ampharos 13:21, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Image

I think we need a new image, Because we should have it's full body from the anime. ReaNintendo 17:35, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
