He's never referred to as Father Christmas in the anime, and "Santa Claus" is used in Britain more commonly than "Father Christmas" anyway. Is there any indication in the Pikachu episodes where Santa appears that he has met Ash and the gang before? ::I thought the movies were canon, such as reference to The Power of One in Season 5 (We saw a Lugia on the Orange Islands!). I'll go by the movies and Pikachu episodes as canon, but the episode before Holiday Hi-Jynx and the episode after Snow Way Out are clearly back to back, so those two holiday episodes are out of place.
