::Considering I knew that Stephan '''''does not''''' have a middle starter Pokémon, I think it's safe to assume that I watch the anime. That and I [[James's Yamask|wrote]] [[Mr. Garrison|a fair]] [[Bianca's Minccino|amount of the]] [[Cilan's Stunfisk|Best Wishes]] [[Luke's Zorua|character articles]], and provide screenshots of episodes. But you're right, Trip, Bianca, and Burgundy do have middle starter Pokémon. But they don't count for [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/all all] rivals.
