Does anyone know the formula for this attack? Same question for Frustration. Tesh 17:23, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

And wouldn't this make Return Lopunny's Signature Move? Tesh 22:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

If Frustration is Buneary's. We're still debating that, however... TTEchidna 00:53, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
It's a difficult one to call, but if we call Return Lopunny's signiture move (and Frustration Buneary's), would we not then have to do the same with other examples. E.g. Vigoroth is the only Pokémon that can learn Focus Punch by leveling, but a substaintial amount can learn it through TM01 in Generations III and IV. Tricky when you look at it, huh? Do we really need that big list for Gen II? - Chosen

Well, it all depends on whether all of the Pokemon in Gen.II can learn this attack. TESHTALK 16:11, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Any Pokémon that can learn TMs can learn Return and Frustration. It's always been that way, and I think it's safe to assume it'll always be that way (unless they decide to pull another Regigigas on us with them like they did with Rest and Protect...). Missingno. Master 10:55, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Japanese name

おんがえし (恩返し) does not simply mean return. I think it would be worthwhile to point out that it means repaying a favor/kindness, which makes more sense in relation to the move than the current vague translation IMHO. I say at least make it return favor or something. --BlackySully 00:05, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

That does make much more sense felinoel 15:28, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Power

Wait... so this can only do up to 41 power? Max happiness is 102 and that divided by 2.5 is 40.8 felinoel 15:40, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

You're reading it wrong. Take out the parts in brackets, which are there as explanation, and you get The base power of Return varies between 0 and 102. 102 is the maximum power, which occurs at maximum happiness. The Happiness value ranges from 0 to 255 (one byte). 255/2.5 = 102. Werdnae (talk) 19:22, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Ah ok, I figured I was reading it wrong but just didn't see where, max power of 102 makes a lot more sense for the amount of punch my Teddiursa's return is dealing, lol felinoel 04:18, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

anime?

just a question, but has Return ever been used in the anime? In A Manica 00:52, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

I've never seen it been used. If it had been, I or another user would have put it up. ^^ Littlmiget123 01:18, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Wild Ditto?

What exactly would the power level be for a wild ditto that uses return? -Unendingfear (talk) 06:24, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
