Just flipping through Wikipedia and apparently there's an legend in the town involving the Suki Suspension Bridge and two lovers who jumped off of it. Additionally, if memory serves (it's been a while), one of the two lovers who wanted you to send letters or something was located in Fortree, which fits the legend even more. Could be a match?
