== Removing prize structures of retired events ==
I'm doing a major rehaul of this article to make it more up-to-date. Currently there is a lot of information which seems to be from sometime around 2014. I have moved it to "retired tournaments" sections, however it is taking up a huge bulk of the page space with the large "typical prize structure" tables. Would it be okay to remove the tables and just keep a summary of the event level?
Also, my expertise is in VGC and Pokkén. I've seen there are some other people making edits to the TCG sections, thank you for that. I will continue to make the sections I know about more accurate. --[[User:The Last Sheikah|The Last Sheikah]] ([[User talk:The Last Sheikah|talk]]) 20:00, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Desperately Needs Updating

Much of the information here is out of date as of the end of the 2011 season. The rating system was changed for the 2012 season, and changed again completely for this season (2013). There are now championship points instead of K ratings, and the points awarded changed between the 2012 and 2013 seasons. I'm not 100% on how the whole system works, so I'm not qualified to update everything. I'm working with a TO to gain an understanding to a level of competence that I can put good information here. In the mean time, are there any TOs who can chime in? Cactido (talk) 05:23, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Asking to merge

I officially ask that Play! Pokémon be merged with Pokémon Organized Play as changes were made there for the rebrand, and the name of Play! Pokémon be used for the merged items. Kojirojames2006 10:57 PM US EDT Aug 45 2010

I agree with the idea of a merger. Is there anything different besides the name and logo change? --ZestyCactus 03:34, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree, too. Why wasn't the old page just moved? TTEchidna 08:05, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
I'd say merge once TPCi starts using the new logo instead of the old one on pokemon.com .--immewnitythemew 21:15, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
They already have done so. Kojirojames2006 8:49 PM US EDT Aug 16 2010
No. Only time was in the article. Everywhere else it's still the OP logo. See here.--immewnitythemew 12:51, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree, at least until we get more info about this.--Fern 24 17:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

At the present time I don't think it's necessary, the page isn't that long quite yet. Potentially putting them under a show/hide but we dislike using that option since it can occasionally fail to load. --Spriteit (talk) 07:42, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
I think it might be worth splitting off individual event types to their own articles. The concept of "National Championships" etc. as a whole (not individual events) would be notable enough to have their own pages. The page is quite long, and I think focuses too much on the types of events rather than Play! Pokémon as a whole. --SnorlaxMonster 11:27, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
Return to "Play! Pokémon" page.
