Sleeping?

I don't know if it's really necessary, but should there be a list of Pokémon who can (fully) sleep? TheUltimateGamer (talk) 23:16, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

Are you talking about sleep, or what?
And can you give an example of who can and can't sleep for starters? Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:08, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Not the status, I'm talking about when a Pokémon's affection is at least, (I think) 4 (hearts). I think their hunger and enjoyment also have to be pretty high. For Pokémon who can do it, the ones I can recall right now are Pichu, Pikachu, both forms of Raichu, all starters, Eevee and every Eeveelution, Mimikyu, and Latios. I haven't tried caPikachu yet. My way of doing it is bringing a fresh 'mon that never went in refresh. Pet it in a favored spot until I can't anymore, feed it a Rainbow Bean, then two plain beans. It should have 4 hearts affection, 4 or 5 enjoyment, and full hunger. Switch out of it, and then switch back in to it. There's a chance that instead of lowering its head and making little "snoring" noises, it'll be in an actual sleeping position that needs 2 taps to wake up. Additionally, Pikachu will snore (the rest of the Pokémon are just mute). I don't really think you have to pet it in a favored spot the entire time if it wears the thumb. You can switch to a normal spot. (Longest comment on Bulbapedia). TheUltimateGamer (talk) 15:35, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
I mean, I have seen that often enough. It's just one of the things I never wanted to bother pinpointing the conditions for.
The main thing, though, was do you know of any Pokemon that can't fall asleep under appropriate circumstances? You asked if there should be a list, and if the list is just "all Pokemon", then there's just no need for a list. =P Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:43, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
From what I can tell, it seems that most Pokémon can't. Some more "notable" Pokémon are able to, although most "general" Pokémon (think Gastly, Drifblim, Golbat, Kirlia) can't. Igglybuff's entire evolutionary line is able to, as with Tapu Koko (not sure about the other Tapus). It seems that usually, if a Pokémon has only 1 "approval" animation, they can't fully sleep. My point is that most Pokémon can't, which CAN be considered cause for a list. I've actually noticed quite some similarities between sleepables and high-fivers. I wouldn't be surprised if a list like this would be as long as the high-five list. :) <--face TheUltimateGamer (talk) 19:42, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

Magearna Original Color

I've checked a Original Magearna in Pokémon Refresh (through PkHex). It looks like she have a same favored and disfavored spot like normal Magearna: She like be petted on top of head, while shoulder-petting make her change into PokeBall form (meaning she doesn't like it). --Modikisha (talk) 20:20, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
