Is this page really necessary? I don't think we need a page for every single one of Shinji's Pokémon. After all, Gary only has two Pokémon bios. Drew, Harley and the rest of Ash's have onlyl one. I doubt a Pokémon seen with Shinji for half an episode needs a bio. --PAK Man 23:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Mrr, I'm a bit borderline on this. On one hand, yeah, it's a short-lived Pokémon of a side character. On the other hand, we have ones like Orville... but then, there's more to be said there than there is to be said here, I think. So... I have no idea. --Pie ~ 00:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
The thing about Orville is that he was actually on the same level as a character of the day. --PAK Man 01:08, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I added a little bit but I don't think there is much else that can be said. With the way Shinji releases Pokémon, it would be a better idea to put small bios for the more minor Pokémon of his in his article. The same for other rivals. --FabuVinny 20:27, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Notability

So, anybody else think this article is unnecessary? I realize I'm bringing up the same question I had from several months ago, but I really don't see why we need this article. --PAK Man Talk 13:01, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

This time, I agree... :) --ElectAbuzzzz 17:48, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Why isn't it nessecary??? If we have a article for Paul's Murkrow that was only in one or two episodes (correct me if I'm wrong), why can't we have this one??? --Theryguy512 22:24, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Because Azumarill doesn't belong to Paul anymore and its never going to come back. Murkrow, on the other hand, is still in his team and its highly likely it will appear again. JmathTalk 22:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Yea, but he still battled/used it! Ash traded back his Raticate after only using it like once or not even, yet we still have an article on that! --Theryguy512 22:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Stop using the "If we have X, why not Y" argument. With stuff so close to the notability line, it doesn't work. As for this article, Azumarill was barely seen. At least Murkrow is a part of his main team. --FabuVinny T-C-S 22:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

What are you talking aabout Azumarill was barely seen?. Murkrow was only seen once! --Theryguy512 22:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

It appeared again in the tag battle tournament during Chimchar's training. JmathTalk 22:35, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Azumarill was quickly defeated by Geodude and immediately released. Murkrow was used in battle in DP040 and then seen for the rest of the episode, during DP051 and has been in the opening since the start of the series. And I just told you to stop using the comparison argument. Murkrow gets discussed on its own talk page. And for the record, Ash's Raticate might also be worth removing. --FabuVinny T-C-S 22:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

If we have pages for James's Aggron, Jessie's Charizard, James's Hoppip, and James's second Victreebel (all which were owned for less than one episode), why shouldn't we have this one? MERRY CHRISTMAS 23:08, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

You know the GOAL of bulbapedia is to write bio's about every pokemon - unsigned comment from Munchlaxies (talkcontribs)
