== Physiology ==
Minezumi is a rodent-like Pokémon that resembles a chipmunk. It is mostly brown with a tan stomach and face. Its tail is long and straight with a scruffy white tip. It has a large pointed tooth that sticks out of its mouth. Its head has a black band that covers the eyes, which have red irises with a yellow ring. Its pupils are small and black. :::Eh, It kind of is and kind of isn't. I'm saying for people to ask permission first, but if it's a good edit I don't actually care. I'm just saying that to give me an even greater reason to yell at people if they chuck random fanwankish speculation on the page. Also, I would think that the "nezumi" portion of it's name denotes it's rodent-like nature. I think it's more closely related to a mouse or rat, the direct translation of "nezumi." :I personally think it has more in common with gophers/prairie dogs. I pass by a large group of them when heading to my counseling appointments, and they always seem to be on the look out for something. Not to mention that Minezumi's tail reminds me of a gopher's. ::I'd say that design wise it's very similar to a chipmunk or gopher, but by being the lookout pokemon it is also similar to prarie dogs. They're not related to meerkats though.
