Mirror Move is technically any attack, so, how can we define if its "damaging" or "non-damaging"? furthermore, it isnt "status" if it returns an attack, then it would be physical or special.

:Given how Mirror Move only copies when an effect actually affects the user, I'd wager it can't copy {{m|Transform}}.  Transform doesn't actually do anything to the one packing Mirror Move, similar to how {{m|Lock-On}} only sets that move's user's sights on its target for a sure strike and doesn't actually do anything to the target.

:Note that this only affects Mirror Move.  Other move-copying effects have their own properties, hence those other moves may be able to copy Transform.  {{m|Sketch}} and {{m|Metronome}} are known to be able to copy Transform. == Pokemon Stadium info ==

In Pokemon Stadium, if a Pokemon uses Mirror Move against a Flying-type, and the move that is copied is Fly, then the Mirror Move user can actually fly in the air, even if they don't have wings or aren't flying types. == Interaction with glitch moves in Gen 1 ==

== Switch-in ==
I was playing Pokémon Sun, and defeated an Office Worker's Psyduck with my Geodude's Thunder Punch. He then switched in his Fearow, who used Mirror Move right away, and used Thunder Punch on me. I didn't even select a move that turn, because I used a Super Potion on my Geodude. Apparently Mirror Move copies the last move used even if the user wasn't on the field that turn? == GSC behaviour ==

Not sure how to clean up this article, but I can say that in GSC, Mirror Move looks at opponent moves the same way as Sketch does, except that unlike Sketch, it doesn't check for Struggle (and can thus use it). As a result, it can use everything except for Selfdestruct, Explosion and Metronome, but will not use moves that the user know. Note that since Metronome in GSC can use Mirror Move, the game can crash (softlock) if you use Mirror Move (unsuccessfully) and the opponent responds with Metronome -> Mirror Move or vice versa. --[[User:FIQ|FIQ]] ([[User talk:FIQ|talk]]) 20:41, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

As for a general cleanup, there's also the Smogon article linked to in the article (I haven't read it, but it seems to be from RSE or later), and then there's plenty of info [http://upcarchive.playker.info/0/upokecenter/dex/index.html%3Flang=en&move=119.html at UPC], so maybe this will need a radical approach anyway. == Effect out of date for later generations  ==
Testing Mirror Move in Pokemon Moon revealed that its effect is different to that described on the page. Mirror Move allows the user to select a Pokemon on the field, and replicates their move, and no longer has anything to do with the last move that targeted the user. I don't know in which Generation this change occurred.
