Pokedex Entries?

Any reason for why May's Pokédex needs two different template boxes instead of one? If not I'll just put them together into one Pokédex template. Frozen Fennec 16:14, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

I believe that we seperate the Hoenn and Battle Frontier entries with different templates. It's like that on several other pages as well, so I think it would be best to just leave it as is. --Pokemaster97 16:20, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Oh, that explains things, thank you. Frozen Fennec 16:23, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Base Stat Total

Is it relevant that Venusaur, Meganium, and Torterra all have the lowest base stat total of all fully evolved starters? UmbralHero (talk) 02:38, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Origin

Hello! I know this isn't a big thing, but I do not agree that Meganium's flower is a daylily, but rather a hibiscus. The petal count and shape is more consistent with Hibiscus, as well as the color. I'd recommend comparing it to a hibiscus rosa-sinensis "Cindys Heart". Thanks!! Fayelight (talk) 00:10, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

Hibiscuses only have five petals, while Meganium has six. Compare to the "Love Struck" daylily. Icycatelf (talk) 15:10, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
This is true. I looked further into daylillies as I still did not see the landmark white edges that made me lean hibiscus, but found "twentieth century fox" daylily to be strikingly similar to Meganium's flower. Looking closer, I feel the stamen also match meganiums antennae shape. Thanks for leading me in the right direction! Fayelight (talk) 20:56, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
Neither "Love Struck" nor "Twentieth Century Fox" was registered/introduced before Gen. II, but there are still plenty of hybrids that resemble Meganium's flower. It may not even be based on a "registered" hybrid, though it would be nice to find a list of ALL daylily hybrids with pictures and dates to help narrow it down.
