No pokemon is ever described as unique, anywhere, in the games or in the anime. All a talk about "unique pokemon" is complete fan speculation, nothing more. Just look at HG/SS: you can get a newborn Giratina, Dialgia, or Palkia, proving even THEY aren't unique.
