Mandibuzz

I might be mistaken, but wasn't it said around Black/White's launch that while James Turner designed Vullaby, Mandibuzz was designed by Ken Sugimori? --Ryu Shoji 21:31, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

What happened was James Turner was confirmed to have made Vullaby, and everyone assumed that Sugimori designs every Pokémon unless stated otherwise. This quote is from Mandibuzz's article:
According to interviews with Ken Sugimori in Nintendo Dream, Vullaby and Mandibuzz were added late into the development of Black and White. When Mandibuzz was originally created by James Turner, it was unrelated to Braviary, but it was later decided to use its design as a counterpart to Braviary.
We use Nintendo Dream as a source for quite a few origins; it would be nice if someone could get scans from it. --SnorlaxMonster 11:44, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Mameshiba: On the Loose!

Should it be noted in a small trivia section or something that he drew the pictures for the Mameshiba franchise (in the manga)? I found this out because I own the only volume of the manga and it says it was illustrated by James Turner. I thought it would be interesting to include it here maybe. Gen VI designs?

Is there any word on if Turner designed any Pokémon for X and Y? I'd heard (not from any reliable source) that he'd made Goomy and Sliggoo. Glik (talk) 17:47, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon Design?

(Turner designed seven Pokémon for Pokémon Black and White.) Which source say dat he make onley 7 Pokémon in BW? --Altruis でんき 13:44, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

The Pokémon's pages say GAME FREAK's website. Glik (talk) 14:29, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

James Turner and other people of have worked on pokemon related project

I was thinking that it would be cool if we added a place where it talks about his interview with Gamefreak and how he made Phantump. I was also thinking it would be really convenient if his and all the other "real people" pages could have their social media platforms added somewhere other than their references. - unsigned comment from BlazingTurtonator (talkcontribs)

sort by natdex number order or by chronological order?

i just re-added the gallery of mons Turner designed, and i ordered them by dex order since similar lists on other designer pages are arranged the same way (like the pages for Hitoshi Ariga and Megumi Mizutani). however, i looked back on this page's history and judging by ForceFire's edits, i guess ordering it chronologically is the correct one? idk i'm confused. sort chronologically or by dex order? I was planning on ordering them all chronologically. I think it's more appropriate in the context of designs.--Rocket Grunt 20:08, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
Chronological order it is, then. Anzasquiddles (talk) 04:07, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
