Focus Punch

"However it doesn't prevent flinching with Focus Punch" - I think this statement is a little unclear. I'd rephrase it, but I don't actually know what this ability does.- unsigned comment from Gastly's mama (talkcontribs)

Focus Punch has a flinch-failure effect if the move is interrupted by a damaging hit. Inner Focus blocks flinching from everything else, such as Bite's effect. Gywall(Talk) 21:12, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Pmd2

In PMD2, all pokémon have all possible abilities. What I'm getting at is that Lucario has Inner Focus(prevents flinching) and Steadfast(flinch=speed boost) How does that work? Me and my fellow torchics agree on this - Sk8torchic. 20:11, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

It only activates if it becomes Cross-eyed, which activates flinch-related abilities - Gold Dialga

Incorrect mentioning of this as a move.

In the "How to Draw the Newest Pokemon" Scholastic book, it mentions this ability and Steadfast as moves rather than abilities, would it be appropriate to add that to the Trivia of this page and Steadfasts's?

This would fit better in the Errors section of the book's article. Since a section doesn't exist for the book's article yet, I'll go and start it up now. Berrenta (talk) 21:00, 21 July 2014 (UTC)

Mega Gallade

Mega Gallade is officialy revealed with Innerfocus and should be added, I don't know how to add feature things so I would like if someone could add that.Source (Karstvgl (talk) 12:30, 13 September 2014 (UTC))

If you look again you'll see it was already there. ----samm :D 12:38, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Yep I see thanks Karstvgl (talk) 12:40, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Fake Out vs. Mega Gallade

If Gallade has not yet Mega Evolved (so it doesn't have Inner Focus), is hit by Fake Out, then Mega Evolves (so that it gains Inner Focus), will it still flinch? Similar situations could be engineered using Skill Swap, etc., but this seems the simplest. (You also wouldn't NEED to use Fake Out, but it certainly helps to have a guaranteed flinch for this kind of test.) --SnorlaxMonster 04:52, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
