I'm loathe to start yet another debate on nomenclature but, as proven by SnorlaxMonster's scan of the official guidebook [https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21584420/BP/Images/XY%20guidebook%20p374-5.jpg] , IVs are called '''individual strengths''' multiple times, as well as being referred to as "the strengths of the individual" elsewhere.
